What people should really be shocked and disgusted at is the sound of her singing voice live...it's awful!!!

Also, the price of her tickets. That should make the general public angry, because most of the general public can't afford her shows.

I think the thing that was bothering me the most was that she acts like she's all spiritual and I thought, "What a hypocrite!"

But I read all of your responses and I remembered that it's just Madonna that we're talking about -- and she's pretty much always full of it.

I disagree, her bread and butter is putting on a shocking and offensive performance and calling it self expression.

I have never seen her show nor plan to see it. She lost me way back with the truth or dare (or whatever it was called) way back when.

Just thougth the background of video from 3rd world countries was a bit interesting.

It's not like she hung from a cross on a public street corner or Janet Jackson-like, did it at a major, national pubic event. She did it at her private concert. People volunteerily went to see her. Nobody is forced to go -especially at those prices.

Only people living under a rock the last 15 years would not know to expect Madonna to be religiously controversial. It is her first amendment right to "express herself" as one of her songs promotes.

It is your right & responsibility to monitor what you want to watch. Just don't go to her concert or read about them if it upsets you - or then yes, you are being a masochist.

I'll say it again -- she's free to do it or any silly thing she wants, but I just want to know how she can call herself "spiritual" and do it.

Madonna is getting desperate, and this is pathetic.

As a Catholic, all I can say is, "Whew. Good riddance." I don't know how happy the Jews are to have her, but at least she isn't OUR problem anymore.

Never had any respect for her, but liked her songs, back in the day...Oh, my gosh! It's been over 20 years. This is too depressing. I can't be this old. I'm still cool!

I could care less what her political/religious opinions are and she could sing them all day long and I still wouldn't care. But I think it's about time she just retired. Why not go out while she's still big instead of drawing it out to the point where people aren't interested in her anymore? There's a lot more respect in that I think. And really...she looks ridiculous prancing around half naked onstage. She's a wife and a mother of two, not some hooker on a street corner. It makes her look ridiculous, IMO. I mean, it was fine 20 years ago but now it's just kind of lame. Of course, there are many who still love the Material Girl and that's fine. I myself have never been a big fan of hers so I could be slightly biased
