And we're LOST!!!!!! We were trying to stay within the $200 - $250 range. Anything on the Black Friday ads would be great :) Everything is starting to look the same :(
My head is now spinning :upsidedow

We're looking at some Cannons, GE and Kodak cameras. Or anything else we might be missing!! I know to look for MP and optical zoom but that's ALL I know. We are looking at Kodak Easy Share z1012 iS, Cannon Power Shot A590 IS and GE a1230bk.

I'm VERY open to any suggestions, explanations or comments on these cameras or others.

Thanks! Love my disers :flower3:

I have had nothing but GOOD luck with the Canons as they are one of the leaders in the industry today...They are easy to use, they have settings for different things like portraits, sports, etc that are good for an amateur, and have good optics and lenses.

I have not looked at the others you have mentioned but I am on my 6th Canon (I always want the newer and now I want a DSLR Canon XSi) but I still have all of them and they all still work.

Happy Shopping...Us Canadians don`t really understand all this Black Friday stuff...we don`t have it here but it sounds like fun.
