I am hoping to be able to watch Wishes from "Ohana and am wondering if I can request (i know it is not a guarantee)a table with a view. If it is possible to see Wishes from there where do I ask to be seated?

When we were there last August we asked to be seated ( i hope that I am saying this correctly), by the grill. In all honesty we were seated by the grill, not that close. But, when wishes started we were pleasently surprised. So I would ask for something close to the windows.
It was beautiful and something that we have all remembered. The music was piped in, the food was continuesly served, our drinks were refreshed. Basically an experiance that is unforgetable and we are hoping for a repeat during or upcoming trip.

Why not simply ask to be seated at a table that would give you a good view of Wishes?

We were just there this week. Ask for a table in the main dining room if you have kids or just want to be part of the action. The window seats are in the main room but further away from the grill, they are perfect if you are there for wishes. It will depend on you party size. It lookek like all the bigger parties were in the middle of the room.
Have a great time, it was the best meal-foodwise-we had. (CRT is in the running due to location, location, location!)

Ive never asked for a table by the window. I have 2 adrs for 'Ohanas this Sept. Wishes is not scheduled either day!

I double checked and they are having Wishes Sept 1!!

We like to eat, then go down to the beach and watch from there.

When is a good time to make your ADR if you want to see Wishes? I was thinking 8:00, since Wishes is at 9:00 when I'm going.

Unless you enjoy having other diners' rear ends on your plate, I suggest you ask for a window seat. If you are in the main aisle there is a very good chance that when parents get up to take pictures of their little darlings participating in the events, they will stand directly in front of you and back up into your dinner.

Don't we all? :teeth:

Although, reading the above responses, I would ask for "a table with a view of Wishes but nobody else's patoot in my face". But that's me, I have little problem being outrageous. You might instead want to combine suggestions from this thread, asking for a window seat with a view of Wishes - in case there are window seats with other views.

Amen to that, we were there last year and DW and I had a table for 2 along the isle (wood floor portion) we had butts in our face the whole time (kids, parents, wait staff, coconuts under our table!!).....I'm a sit in the back corner of a rest. type person. We have a 8:00pm seating in August, I will make sure we are not there again!! I think we have been there 5 times and we have never gotten anything near a window.:sad2:
