Ok, I don't mind rain, but this is getting ridiculous!

For the last 4 days in a row, there have been thunderstorms! Not just rain, thunderstorms....Friday = Hail, Sat = Power Out, Sun = Hail, Mon = Power out....all of this when I'm trying to sleep too! And, guess what the forecase is? Tues = T-Storms, Wed = T-Storms, Thursday should be nice, then 3 more days of Thunderstorms!!!

Now, I don't mind rain, but come on. I don't ever remember having so much strong weather as this year.

Ok. Thanks for listening to me complain a little bit.

I talked to someone from Chicago last evening! They said the storms were headed to Pittsburgh when they called me. I said, well they're here!! And while we were on the phone, the storm hit, the power went out and I was in the middle of cooking a birthday dinner!! So, I guess we're getting the storm after you.

We've had storms almost every day too. Last night we had a short, fast, intense storm. It woke everyone up. This morning it's bright and sunny though.

I agree! At DH work (car sales = need good weather) has been keeping track ---- In the month of May it rained something like 26 days out of the month here. (I can't remember exactly) .. then in June it was like 15. So far in July we have already had a few! Am I drowning yet?

These storms have been moving very fast - at times at 50mph and that's why they are reaching the eastern cities so fast. This has been an amazing week with these storms. Rockford got hit pretty bad and last night they still have about 20,000 people without electricity. Yesterday it was at 33,000 then another storm came through yesterday morning and knocked out another 6,000 that had already been restored. This was since Friday night. It has not been fun. We've been lucky but we had a good one go through last night.
