Ok, I am ready to call..

I am ready to call and make our ressies for our November trip. This is our first trip so this is my first time calling.
-Will I need to put in our room requests now or do I do that later?
-DO I pay the deposit over the phone or can I send that in?
I am so excited to go to WDW but I keep putting off calling.

HI Melanie,

You can put room requests in now, they will add them to the ressie, but of course nothing in guaranteed until you check in. You could place a followup call to the resort a few days before you arrive to again check on your requests, since the hotel should get your reservation sent down to them a week or two before you arrive.

As for the deposit, you can make it over the phone if you wish. Otherwise I believe you have 14 days to send one in. I usually wait for the ressie to come in the mail, then I send off my deposit (which is usually for one-night's stay).
