Seems from a number of posts, that people are planning on a trip to US in spring of 2010.

We are planning the same thing. I'm now thinking it will be crazy crowded and may be worth waiting longer before going. Although, 2010 already seems so far away.

How is construction going? anyone have an update on completion?

construction is going as planned.

universal will do the new place up in style.

me, i'm looking forward for the new roller coaster that will be put in....

I'm planning to go in July 2010 for my son's :scared1: 13th birthday! He loves Harry Potter (and me too!).

Everything should be completed by then...hopefully sooner. I'm sure it's going to be fantastic!

Are you referring to the Hollywood Rip Ride Rockit coaster going in at Universal that's already been announced,or to the new major ride going in the Harry Potter area at IOA.I'm asking because as far as I know nobody really knows for sure what kind of ride this will go in the Potter area. There's been rumors of it being some kind of ride with the robotic KUKA arm.And if someone tells me it will be a coaster, well I would be jumping up and down, new coaster at Universal and Sea World for 2009 which are both confirmed and a new coaster at Islands of Adventure for the Harry Potter area for 2010.

I am looking forward to everything and have a few trips plannned before it's all done and more planned afterwards! :thumbsup2 :lovestruc :thumbsup2

looking forward to ride rockit............it does sound kewl.

not a potter fan but i'm sure universal will make that new area appealing to all

I'm going to miss the rest of the Lost Continent :(

I loved Lost Continent - are they going to re-do the whole part or just some of it?

YES! We already have plans to going in November 2010 - yep, Jersey week, since the schools here have three days off that week. I'm already checking into packages :lmao: and I'm hoping that airfares won't be out in the stratosphere by then:rotfl2:

It's most likely going to be a kuka arm coaster.

All I know is that construction is going well.

We've got a family trip in the pipeline for May 2010. We're hoping to see a little, if not all of the HP part of IOA. I'm hoping they don't touch DD though, that's one close to my heart, as it was my first ever roller coaster that I rode just this April past!!

I will be there for the Christmas Holidays in 2009/2010. Will any of it be open by then?
