Ok here we go - looking for some feedback on a few places

I guess no one knows about these 2 places?

LOL

Thanks in advance.. if anyone??

I ate at Fulton's once, many moons ago. It had great seafood-- loved the crabcakes. I recall being outside, on the front deck, and having a nice view of the surrounding area.

Ok, that's probably not hugely helpful, but it's all I can remember, and I didn't want you to feel like we were ignoring you :)

we love Fulton's. As a matter of fact, it is the first restaurant we go to after checking in. Sitting at the bar, working our way through a seafood tower and a first cocktail of the trip.

Protobello was very good the ONE time we ate there. It is nice to sit outside, the service is very good and the food, though nothing to crow about, it is quite good.

So, I would like to hear which you chose and how you liked it :)

They're both good...both non-disney run.

To be honest - the disney run places have declined on the whole...

...dining plan

We ate at both of these restaurants in February. Portobello was great! We hadn't eaten there during our last few trips (didn't make the time), but I am really glad that we worked it in on this trip. Both the food and service were excellent. In fact, I believe that it was the best meal during our stay.

We also had lunch at Fulton's. The food was okay - not good or bad - but the service was definately an issue. It was not busy or crowded and we just couldn't understand why everything was so slow and wrong. Maybe the server was having a bad day, but we were both somewhat disappointed.

We ate at Portobello in Sept 2010 and Sept 2011.
Sept 2010 was fantastic food, fantastic service.
Sept 2011 was a terrible table next to a very large, loud drunk party that had finished eating hours ago, and on the other side of us it looked like they were using part of the dining room as storage. Food was only ok. We won't be going back.

We have always thought both were nice places. This was prior to them becoming available on the dining plan. Since we've been going to WDW long enough to remember all the other restaurants pre-dining plan, I anticipate that these two will also deteriorate. So for now, I can give them a conditional approval.

Thanks for the info... I will think about it... ya know its always good to get other peoples opinions... but if you dont try it yourself youll never know...

The one thing my friend told me about fultons.. she went a few years ago with her boyfriend.. and she said her boyfriend was still hungry after he ate his meal/ I was curious to hear if anyone else had same experience..

Fulton's has excellent sea food. Unfortunately we haven't gotten around to Portobello yet.

What I will tell you though is that Fulton's was very pricy the last time we were there, even pricy in comparison to places like California Grill. I liked it a lot, but I didn't think it was quite on the same level.

Both have been pretty good to us, historically. We like Bluezoo and Flying Fish more than Fulton's for seafood, but it's still fine. We really enjoy Portobello. Time will tell if it maintains its excellence now that they're accepting the dining plan.
