I feel like Candid Camera is watching me!

I've been without my car, this is the 4th week now. My idiot husband decided to pay $2000 for a new motor in my piece of junk van instead of buying a new one. They've had to have the motor shipped in which is taking to darn long.

So the kids lost my portable phone and we can't find it anywhere! I used my cell phone this morning to find it was disconnected for non payment, hmm that's funny since I just paid the bill Nov 21st. Turns out my sister, who I share our Verizon account with, has been screwing me every which way. Almost $100 in overages and $10 in texting... so we owe $160 right now to turn our phones back on. She doesn't have it so our phones are turned off until she can pay it.

So I go upstairs to get our plug in the wall phone and hook it up to find our phone line is shorted out or something and I can't get a dial tone... we have dsl or i'd have no internet either, knock on wood.

The baby is sick, he has the beginnings of broncitis and sounds horrible. I have a nebulizer for him and it's too early to take him in to the doctor, they'll just tell me ot nebulize him. But I feel very uncomfortable here alone without a car or a phone. None of my family members are available today either...

Ok, time to turn off the cameras... it's not funny anymore! Alright, done complaining... back to your regularly scheduled programming.

Yikes ~ sounds like you've been having a bad day (week?) Do you have neighbors nearby that you can use their phone if god forbid you need to with your little guy sick? I'd be beside myself if it were me. Hoping your day gets better

Not a fun day you are having. Do you have a handset locate button on the base for your phone? That might help you find it. It is possible that is off the hook or something so you can't use your phone line. Try unplugging the base of your cordless phone and plug the other phone in. That might do the trick.

I keep meaning to say your son looks EXACTLY like my nephew. They could be identical twins, except my nephew is 3.

The baby slept until 10am, was awake for 2 hours and was miserable so I just put him back to bed. This week is going by to darn slow! Funny enough, our across the street neighbor is the nurse at our pediatricians office, so she's at work. I don't think any of our neighbors our home... maybe the little older lady down the road a bit. Everyone else works, it's crazy how quiet our neighborhood is during the day. And on top of it, I PROMISED my grandma my husband would go by her house after work to reformat her computer... so i'm looking at being all by our lonesomes until at least 8pm. YUCK!
