Ok, Fess up, how many PK's are out there?

After reading the whole Preacher's family T.V. thread thing I got to thinking, how many PK's are out there, (PK stands for Preachers Kid).


I hadn't heard that term in a while, it was a flash back actually. My father was a preacher when I was younger, but stoped when I was around 8 years old. (he also had a full time job and it was too much to do both.)

So fess up, how many out there? From that thread there seemed to be more then I would of guessed about.

Several of my nephews and nieces are since most of my sisters married ministers and my dd is a pk.

Come on now. PK is so 20th century. Those of us who used to be PK's are now TO's (or Theological Offspring), the more policitally correct 21st century term. That way all of the PK's, MK's, and what have you are all grouped under the TO banner.

PK, MK, TO. It doesn't matter. Just remember we're all rotten. Or at least that's what I've always heard.

Im a PK and an MK but not just of one but TWO parents!
Both my parents are/were ordained in the Salvation army, then dad went on to be a Nazarene Minister and did a lot of field missions. Mom worked off and on for the Salvation Army


So I love the TO heading I think I will use that from now on

I am not a PK, but my sons are. One ds tries to live up to the "reputation" well. He's 7 years old. My other ds (3) is sweet & quiet, like his dad.

It's tough, there are expectations that they will be perfect & sit at home reading their Bible all day, I guess. But, they're kids. I try to not let expectations bother them.

PK checking in ...we are episcopalian I used to wish I had a dime for everytime I was told your dad cant be a priest they cant have kids. It was always fun when we would go for the week long conference at church camp it was a priest and family type thing. Put a bunch(15+) PKs together there will be trouble. One year we stole one pair of underwear from each adult tyedied them and ran them up the flag pole.
