I bought that too! Love classic 70’s rock!! I don’t listen to CD’s anymore though, just use my phone app.I filled out the form so many times (for CDs) but never sent it in. However, I did cave and buy Time-Life's "Songs of the 70s." 10 CDs spanning the 1970s. What can I say? It was 3am, DD was about 6 years old and very sick, running a fever, I'd been up for a couple of nights with her... they hit me at a weak point and I fell for it! I am happy to say that I like most of the music on several of the CDs from this collection and take them with me when going on long drives- in the only car that has a CD player anymore.
(ETA: Hmmm... looks like ALDIOS folks are representing this morning...)
8 tracks were almost obsolete by the time I joined. I never had any, but some friends did. I didn’t like that some songs got interrupted midway thru while the tape switched from track 4 to 5.I think I do, too! I loved getting all those 8 tracks!![]()

I liked them. I had a [really cool for the day] portable 8 track player that had great sound that I would take to hang out and everyone loved it [before the days of boom boxes]. It even had a shoulder strap, lol. I think only brought a few tapes at a time with me, so we got to know that music really well. That was one way we got to know all the songs on an album!8 tracks were almost obsolete by the time I joined. I never had any, but some friends did. I still have my portable 8-track player in my closet, along with the few 8-track tapes I accumulated. Did yours separate into the two halves to maximize the stereo sound? I had an 8-track player in my home stereo system also, but by the time I was old enough to buy my first car cassettes were in vogue.I liked them. I remember the tapes being all over the floor. By the time I could afford a decent car we’d moved on to cassettes.)
