Anyone have and idea what seasonal really means in regards to seasons attractions? I would have assumed the crowds in June and july would facilitate the opening of seasonal attractions, but from most reports here, attractions like Wonders of Life are still closed. Anyone have some insight??

Seasonal usually means peak times of the year, but there isn't a standard that I know of. It may linked to projected attendance. I know when I worked at Disneyland, our labor hours were linked to attendance forecasts...

So even though it is summer, there may be an actual avg attendance threshold for them to cross before they will open an attraction. I think that some of the seasonal attractions may open around 4th of July and continue until the 3rd week of August.

Jordanyosh is probably correct, and I'd guess that that attendance number is really, really close to the number at which they close the park to new guests. Even then, it's no guarantee.

I was just going to say, seasonal means we're going to let you think that it will open again and then one day it just won't show up on the map at all, like Mike Fink's keel boats and Davy Crockett's canoes. ;)

Yeah, that can happen. But with high profile locations and buildings (COP, Timekeeper, Wonders of Life) that the guests can see, they will try and fill those spaces up with new attractions.....sooner or later. Probably later....;)

Florida residents can get a seasonal pass with black out dates (usually Easter, early to mid summer, and Christmas)
I'm not sure about seasonal rides.:scratchin
