What is a PIN? And how do I get one? We are planning a trip to DW in Jan 2012 and any saving would be awesome!!

Basically it's pixie dust direct from Disney. It is a special offer discount (usually a %off a package) that is sent to you via email. It will contain a code number that you give to the CM when you phone WDW reservations. It is good only for the person it is sent to, for the specified time period.

It's something Disfanatics long for. We crave them. We lust after them. And you CANT get them by asking. You can only wait and hope. Some have said that you increase your chances once you have had contact with Disney such as previous reservations, requests for planning videos, signing up for newsletters, etc.

Yep, if Disney doesn't have your email or snailmail address, they can't send you a PIN! So start requesting planning info now.

Actually, though, most PINs come after you've been to Disney at least once and they want to lure you back. So don't hold your breath waiting for a PIN.

Are you using wdwinfo.com and mousesavers.com to research discounts available to you without a special PIN? I have saved soooo much money through browsing these sites and finding out about discounts and money-saving tips I would never have known about without them.

I wanted a PIN too and I read on this board if you go to the website and order the DVD and pick some dates and save them and leave it for a while and come back and delete all the saved trips they will send you a PIN. I did all that and after a couple months I got a PIN for free dining.
