Ok all you stroller gurus....

I am looking for a Graco Quattro Tour stroller. A friend of mine gave me her like brand new infant carrier, but she is still using the stroller. The print does not matter to me- I am looking for a good deal. I have looked on ebay, but haven't found a god deal and there is nothing on craigs list in my area that would work. Are there any good websites to find strollers at a reasonable price? I don't need the whole travel system, so that might be difficult. TIA!!!

I found a great website call handmedowns.com. Kind of like craigslist but for baby/kids items only. Just be patient and keep watching craiglist; you'll find a deal!

Are you looking for a stroller that you can set the infant carrier into? Why not get the Graco stroller that is just for the infant carrier? It's not a functional stroller unless you set the seat into it...but it's a good alternative while the baby is young.

Skip the monster-size unit and get a stroller frame by Graco, Baby Trend, or Maclaren. All three are fairly close in price at $59-89.

I considered those, but when I talked to my DH, he reminded me of all the use a stroller will get after the baby is out of the carrier. We have 2 older children and we used our stroller to death with them. Now they are 7 and 5, both play little league and soccer, DH plays softball so we need something to use for the next couple of years. I have a Maclaren Volo, but it doesn't recline, so we need something that we can use for a longer time.

I had that stroller- it's NOT good. Too large a footprint to get through stores. Very heavy- hard to lift into trunk or back of suv. It folds up and is still huge. very short seat, my son outgrew it at 18 months. I would find a used stroller frame and then later get another stroller- or, there are other strollers out there that will accept a Graco infant carrier that are far better.

Otherwise, if you really want it, go on Craigs list, Gracos are always listed there.

I STILL love my Graco Quattro Tour. After having 2 kids in 2 years and also using the Quattro Tour Duo I am back to using my QT single for my youngest. But she has to fight for with her big brother who at 4 still wants to ride in it. I never had a problem getting it into my trunk and I have a regular mid sized car. It is a breeze to push, tons of storage, cup holders for everyone, and goes over any surface including through the snow! I use it ALL year round.
If Graco made a QT sit & stand I'd have that too!

Just keep looking on craigslist, you will find one. GL!

I had the quattro tour for my son at birth and HATED it. Seriously went and bought a new stroller after 2 months of fighting with that thing. It is huge to push through stores and didn't fit well in the trunk of my Acura TL. It did push nicely especially for walks to the park (although the Graco squeak I had read about did happen) and I did like the big basket but the cons outweighed the pros very quicky. I kept it and used it for walks only but I bought a Peg Perego Pliko P3 and LOVE it. Works great with the graco snugride too! You'll definitely get your use out of one of these and can typically find some good deals online or on used ones. Also, these hold their resale values well!

However, if you want the quattro tour keep looking online, I'm sure you'll find one soon! Maybe even post on craigslist that you are looking for one. Probably find someone with one sitting in the garage waiting to get rid of like mine was! albeebaby is where i have found some good deals!
