Oil price rant! Sooo not happy! Here we go ALREADY

I had to order oil today, getting too low, so I call and SLAM the price is 2.25/gal... 200 gals = 450.00!!!!! And that isn't even gonna FILL the tank! Man I really am not up for this crap this winter!! The summer is suppose to be the one time the price is down a bit... but now the price is the highest it has ever been!! I am really unhappy that I have to pay this much for oil! We have a wood stove but darn if anyone is home long enough to keep it going in the winter! This bites!

My mom and stepdad lock in at a price every year, so that if it goes higher their rate won't change, but if it goes down, then they'll get the lower rate. Their lock in rate in $2.75/gallon this year

WHATTTTTTTTT!!!...YIKES ....I sure wish I had that FABULOUS price...did I read $2.25 a gallon....last winter 2005-2006 I paid $2.34 a gal and if I needed more after the initial contract period = Oct 1 - May 1..then it went up to $2.63...AND of course I needed one more "fill up"....

Now, I just got my new statement to "lock-in" my price for 2006-2007 and it is a WHOPPING $2.74 a gallon.

So as far as $2.25....that IMHO is OUTSTANDING!!!

BTW: I am in MASS. This state is so $$$$$$$!

$2.25 is sounding really really good from where I'm sitting in CT! Think I paid that back 6 months ago -- now it's in the $2.40+ range, and I'm hoping to get a fill-up before the winter.
