Ohanna or Chef Mickey's for breakfast?

I'd planned to go to Chef Mickey's for breakfast on our last day but then remembered Ohanna has a character breakfast too. We'll be staying at WL and spending our last day in MK so they'll both be convenient. Which one would you do?

While I would like to try Ohana sometimes, I find it hard to go there instead of Chef Mickeys, our favorite. The main reason that keeps me from trying it is it seems like such a limited menu compared to Chef Mickeys. I really love the theming of the Polynesian and we stay there from time to time(dont usually stay at the Contemporary), but the variety of Chef Mickeys keeps drawing me back...especially that breakfast pizza. ;)

So to answer your question, I would, and have, chosen Chef Mickeys over Ohana for breakfast.

I agree with CamColt. You get much more variety at Chef Mickeys and that breakfast pizza is yummy. :flower:

We have been to both. We liked Ohana's 100% better! They welcome you with Pineapple bread. They serve it family style. The characters are great and they do a Conga dance around the entire restaurant with the kids and anybody else who would like to join in! I think you will enjoy it! ::yes::

Would you rather have a buffet meal, or a family style meal? At Chef Mickey's they have a buffet and 'Ohana serves their breakfast family style to the table.

Also depends on whether your kids would rather see Mickey and friends in their more familiar costumes, or in Polynesian costumes.

And of course, the most important factor... which one has PS available? All WDW restaurants, with the exception of the dinner shows, start taking PS 90 days in advance. Many times by the time a guest thinks about making those PS, Chef Mickey's is gone... it is the most popular character breakfast on property, with the exception of the 2 princess breakfasts. If you want Chef Mickey's my advise would be to get off of the computer and dial 407 WDW DINE!

I've got a lot of time. We're not going until November. I'm a planner, I have to have everything figured out way in advance or I get anxious. LOL
Thanks for your input everyone. I guess I'll just keep watching the review and see if one seems be incredibly better than the other. Or I'll put them in a hat and draw a name out. LOL I don't want to ask my kids because I want this to be a last day surprise.

I don't think the reviews will show that one show is more incredible than the other. Chef Mickey's gets discussed moe often than any other restaurant (character breakfast or otherwise) on this board because it's the most popular; 'Ohanas seems underrated in comparison. I suppose everyone's gotta try Chef Mickey's once.

Speaking for myself, I prefer 'Ohanas because it's quieter and much easier to get a PS.

In my opinion, both are fun. Chef Mickey's is a buffet, O'hanas is a seated meal. Both are all you can eat, both serve great food.

We like them both.

Here's a different thought, I have done both along with CP and Cape May and I would do Cape May again but probably not the others. JMHO :D
