Hi Michelle

The Poly is up near Magic Kingdom and can be reached on the Monorail, not too sure where O'hanas is though, sorry.

Ohana is on the 2nd floor (1st floor UK-speak) of the Great Ceremonial Hall in the Poly. Gets a thumbs up from me for breakfast and dinner :D

Ohana's is a superb dining experience - if you go try and time it so you can watch the electric pageant which goes around Seven Seas Lagoon outside.

It got all our thumbs up - the food was plentiful and fantastic. A great novelty.

We had dinner at Ohanas in August. It is a great restaurant and the food is very nice.

You are shown to your table by your server, who tells you a little story about Ohana etc. (wasn't really listening).

Once seated, you get your starters brought out and placed on a revolving thingy in the middle of the table - starts are salad, chicken wings, fried rice and stir fried veg.

Just after you have started eating the starters the main course is brought out. You get steak, turkey breast, pork and shrimp, all brought out to you on giant skewers. You can have as much or as little of each as you want. Your server will return a number of time to ask if your want more!

During the evening they have a few games for the kids: hula-hooping and coconut racing. All great fun :)

The Polynesian is one of the three fabulous Disney resorts around the lake in front of Magic Kingdom.

O'hanas is lovely - we've been there three times and love it! Dinner is great - huge skewers of meat cooked over open flame grills and loads of delicious appetisers. Also views over Magic Kingdom so you can see the Wishes fireworks display and, as Annie says, the Electric Water Pageant.

At breakfast they bring a huge platter of various breakfast goodies and you can ask for more of whatever you fancy, plus there are characters - Mickey, Goofy and Chip and Dale.

hi all
can anybody tell me what it's like for kids what is on the kids menu,my ds7 is a pickey eater and i don't want to go there if he won't eat much:D

tia eve:D

We love it and have eaten there many times. Its especially great for kids around the ages of 4 to 11. Fun and very good food of that Polnesian variety

uktigger - There isn't a specific children's menu at O'hanas however I understand they are more than happy to prepare the usual kids stuff like macaroni cheese and chicken strips if asked.

My two kids can be quite picky but love the meat at this restaurant. Big chunks of turkey, pork and beef (the prawns can be quite spicy), these are just plain barbecued and are very tender and tasty. For dessert they offer a bucketful of 'slush' and a spade to eat it with (there is an extra charge for this though).

HTH
