I thought we would try Ohanas while we are in WDW in Dec.
But, I read they use peanut dipping sauce, have PB&J, etc.
I have a son who has a peanut allergy.
'Ohana has a lazy susan type set up on each table with appetizers and dipping sauces. The three dipping sauces are a pinapple chutney, the peanut dipping sauce and then a teriyaki based sauce. They don't appear to cook with it, but you can guarantee that you won't get it if you let them know of the allergy when you book the PS.
There's also a number you can call that's currenly listed on DISabilities under the thread "son with severe allergies".
You can enjoy 'Ohana. We loved it and WILL go back next time!
The PBJ would have to be imported over from Kona which is the restaurant next door so they dont actually serve it there. The peanut dipping sauce is in a container in the lazy susan. I dont think they cook with any type of peanut but to be on the safe side call ahead and tell them of your sons allergies. They will probably take the peanut dipping sauce off your lazy susan just so there isnt any cross contamination which could cause a reaction in your son. They are awesome about accomodating people. You will love this restaurant. We just ate there last night which was about our 16th time eating there. I gave the family a choice of restuarants to go to. They all unanomously picked Ohana!
