I have seem so many negative reviews about Ohana's. I would like to see some good reviews on the food. We are only in WDW for 2 nights, so we will not have a lot of time to travel around. We are eating one night at Kona, not sure about the second. We are hitting MK one day, the only TS we came up with other than Kona is Ohanas, Tonys or Chef Mickey for dinner. We think the 2TS meals may not be good for 13 month and 4 Yr old.

Any help would be great.

it is our fave food at disney... it is the only place that my girls don't ask for ketchup for their meat! it is really great and loud which is great with little ones, the salad is very good it has a lime taste to it which i would normally not get but it is really good. now i have heard the menu has changed since our last trip, but they use to bring out won tons with sauces soo good! my husband won't go to disney unless we go here, the meat is soo tender and full of favor and the dessert is the best, i think you would love it i have planned 4 friends trips last year and i had them try it and they all agreed:thumbsup2

We LOVED O'Hana when we ate there! Food was good, service was good and atmosphere was good! LOL, we loved it and will be returning!

We love O'Hana and have eaten there quite a few times with nothing but wonderful food and service. Its a lively, fun place and something the whole family can enjoy. They will bring your kids something kid friendly (hot dog, etc) if your kids don't like the standard, all you can eat, family style menu.

Come to think of it, my favorite places at WDW get a lot of flack on the dis (Sci Fi, Tony's San Angel as well as O'Hana) and we keep going back and keep enjoying ourselves. I never listen to bad reviews, heck, some of the WORST movies and restaurants I have been to got great reviews so the opposite holds true as well!

You won't know til you try, have a wonderful trip!

We Love Ohanas!! I wrote a doting review on the restaurant review board. The food, atmosphere and service was outstanding! :thumbsup2

We love to eat at 'Ohana when we are there. We have always had good service and have enjoyed the food. A couple of times the steak was cooked more than I liked so I mentioned it to the server and they brought out more that wasn't cooked as long.

We have had both good and bad experiences here. The food has always been good....no complaints ever there. But service seems to be hit and miss lately. It's deffinately worth doing once though if you've never before. We enjoy it in most cases. :)

If you want to visit O'hanas, don't let these reviews get to you. Go, and see how you like it. Then you'll know if you like it or not. :)

We've been twice and we loved it both times. DH is always asking when can we go again. The salad dressing is addictive and not my usual type. We loved it so much I got the recipe and now make it at home.

we just ate at Ohanas on Feb 13th. It was great. Save room for desert. This is now a must do for us on our future trips. Have fun.

I agree with a previous poster that the problem with 'Ohana is more with the hit or miss service. I seem to have more "misses" than "hits" over the past few years. The food has been good - not great, but okay, but I LOVE the bread pudding. It's making me hungry just thinking about it... And my kids do love it, it's a lot of fun with good activities for them to participate in.

If I may make another suggestion that you don't have listed, at the MK you may want to try the Crystal Palace. This is a buffet dinner (or lunch or breakfast) with Pooh and friends, probably perfect for your children's ages. The nice thing about a buffet with little ones is that you can 1) get your food right away, so they're not sitting around waiting, and 2) there is a lot more variety to choose from, including "typical" kids' food, so you're more likely to please everyone.

I think either one is fun, and a previous poster is right, you shouldn't base your decision on these reviews - many of my favorite places regularly get trashed on the boards, I can't think of a single restaurant that hasn't had bad reviews every now and then. Try for yourself and decide what you think!

We LOVE Ohana's!!! Always great service & food! Love the salad & bread pudding (I'm not usually a bread pudding fan, but this is FABULOUS)!!!

If I could only go to one restaurant, Ohanas is it. Every single dish they serve was mouthwatering. It's all so flavorful and we were so stuffed by the end. They keep bringing you food and refill everything so that you are content. The entertainment was fabulous! The kids did a race with coconuts and brooms and the adults got lei's for learning to hula. They really do treat you like family. Can't say enough good things about it!

A MUST-DO for every trip - one of our FAVORITES!!!

I'm done with reviews - I let some bad ones keep us from trying Cape May Cafe for years, but it's now the other one of our favorites.

I totally agree it is hit or miss.

I have been there when the food was great and the server stank. Actually this happened more then the other way around. I also have been there with the food bad maybe twice but the server was good.
Anyway, when I was there in December the server never even brought any meat over until I was completely done with the side dishes... I mean I was stuffed! I continued to eat and eat the wontons, etc because I did'nt get any meat. It was as if she completely forgot to bring it. And the restaurant was no way busy so that was not the answer. I bet I was there at least 45 minutes at my table before she brought meat.

A second vote for Crystal Palace. The Pooh characters are terrific and the food is pretty good. We liked it better than Ohana. Our service at Ohana was very uneven and the food was only o.k. At least at a buffet, you're not so dependent upon the whims of a distracted server and there are many more food options. Plus, you won't have to use up some of your valuable time travelling out of MK to eat.

Our family loves Ohanas for the experience even more than the food. I would suspect your four year old would really be impressed with the fun activities the CM offer, and the whole family unity emphasized at Ohana is what it really is all about. Food is good too!

I say two thumbs up for Ohanas. And yes the dessert is great. My wife just tried the recipe for the bread pudding dessert from Ohanas and it was a big hit at home. If the service is a little slow:hourglass just speak up your paying for it.

We LOVE Ohana...we make it a must for each trip...even better now that they have brought back the grilled shrimp!!! I think it makes Ohana's even that much more special if you book your meal about 1 1/2 hours prior to MK fireworks...get there about 1/2 hour early for your ADR...then when checking in at the podium, ask for a window seat...you might have to wait a while to get a window seat (the reason for arriving early for your ADR) but when the fireworks begin, they will dim the lights and pipe in the music from the MK...you have a wonderful view of Wishes...a perfect end to a perfect day!!

Have fun!
