Ohana's: yes or no?

I've been many times over the years......we went 2 weeks ago, I would have to say I'm not so sure its its worth it.

We love the Poly and eat at Ohana every trip. I agree with some people that is it a little rushed but we liked the food. Our kids liked the food and the staff has always been really nice. It may not be the best food but we enjoy it and some times that is more important. The tiki themed drinks are yummy and fun!

We ate there last December. I am glad I tried it, but I will not hurry back. The waitress was so rushed. The salad and desert were great. The rest of the meal was so-so. But - so many people love it. You have to try it once.

Best restaurant ever we just went on aug 25!!! we got lucky on the reservation and got it the first time that i went online. the food was great! i liked it all and so did my husband. if you go you absolutely have to get the drink that is served in the pineapple. it is sooo good. we also got lucky and had a great view of wishes. i highly recommend this restaurant and you should def. try it at least once

We've been to both breakfast and dinner there. Breakfast was good, but our waitress wasn't the best. Mediocre service at best. My son loves Stitch, so it was all worth it to see him interact with the characters. The juice is da bomb!!!

Dinner was also great. We were so stuffed we skipped the bread pudding! I was so looking forward to it, and there was no way any of us could eat another bite. We were seated by the window as requested (had to wait longer), saw part of the Electic Water Parade, and had a so-so view of the fireworks. Drinks were fabulous.

We're going back for both breakfast and dinner our next trip. And we're also doing Kona for breakfast so I can have TONGA TOAST! I so wish staying at the Poly was in my budget! We'll be going there 3 different days to eat!

We were at O'hana's just last week. Our first meal there, years ago, was excellent. Since then we have tried the restaurant 3 others times with each time failing to meet our expectations (we don't give up easily). Regardless to say, our meal was just ok this time as well. Good news is that we discovered Kona's! Great meals! We ended up cancelling WCC and went to Kona's twice during our trip. Going back down in October and just cancelled my reservation at O'hana's and booked Kona Cafe.

We ate there on 8/29/09 for dinner. We had a fabulous meal. The turkey was a little dry, but turkey tends to get that way anyway. The rest of the meal was excellent. As far as the rushing, we told our waiter that we weren't in a hurry and he respected that. We were there for over an hour. My family always enjoys our meals here. It is worth a try in my opinion. If you hate it, at least you can say you tried it!

Ate there 8/21 and it was one of the best meals of the trip. Loved the salad, pot stickers, wings and SHRIMP! I ate a lot of shrimp on the trip and this was probably the best. My family loved the bread pudding (I don't eat it, but I ate the ice cream it came with). We didn't feel rushed at all, and the server even took time so show us the easy way to peel the shrimp.

I didn't care for the noodles, but my daughter loved them.
