I just returned from my 11 night stay trip to WDW and we ate at O'Hana's which was magnificent!!! Definately try this place...great food and a wonderful atmosphere...my husband and I give it two thumbs up!!!!

Thanks for the good news....It will be a must do for our trip.

We also tried Ohana for the first time on our last trip. We loved it! We thought the food was fantastic. We will be going back again on our next trip.

Our family loves O'Hana's too! DH and I love the food and atmosphere, but kids just love being there. They order their food from the Kona Cafe kids menu.

I tried Ohana for the first time on my last trip and my whole family really enjoyed it!

My mom and I ate there last September and had a great meal! :goodvibes I'm planning on going back this year and much looking forward to the pineapple with caramel sauce!

We love Ohanas! We have eaten there 4 times, once for breakast a nd 3 times for evening meal. Breakfast was good but the evening meal is to die for. Its especially magical when the fireworks are happening. They turn the lights down, turn the sound on and its just a perfect view.

I'm glad you enjoyed 'Ohanas - we had a great exp there last year and hope to try it again in a few trips =)

My family and I also love 'Ohana!!! We eat there each trip and we have a PS for this trip. I'll be there June 9th at 6:30!!! :goodvibes

OKay well I feel different. My hubbie loved it ! He is a meat eater. My dd who is 6 barely ate anything except for the big pail of slush at the end. I dont think we will be doing this our next trip. I would say atmosphere 10 but food for me and my daugher maybe a 6. Hubbie more like an 8 he says.
My daughter loved hula hooping and coconut races .

This site has a very positive view of Ohana for some reason. I had a pretty poor experience there unfortunately and I'm not planning on eating there again.

The atmosphere is fun but when I went, I couldn't help but feel that the emphasis was quantity over quality. Of the four meats they were offering the night I went (chicken, beef, pork and shrimp) none were good, and the pork was inedible. The beef, chicken and shrimp were decent but dry. I think it was quite expensive for the quality of food we got.

And aside from the meat, there's not much selection as far as side dishes. Many of our side dishes were just meat accessories, like peanut butter sauce...the pineapple sauce was really good though.

I thought that since none of the food was memorable and it was expensive, the raves it gets from this board were a little ridiculous. Maybe I was just there on an off night.

I think it just depends on your tastes. I do agree it is expensive, like many things at WDW, but we love it. The quality has been good everytime and the atmosphere is great. The turkey and shrimp were great and Mom reported the beef was tender as well. Dylan (4) ate the food (mainly beef, chicken wings, green beans, and pineapple) instead of ordering from Kona.

I enjoy it better than, say, Crystal Palace or Boma (with the exception of their hummus--yum) which are comparable in price. To each, his (or her) own. :teeth:

We cannot wait to try O'hanas for the first time in December.

Sounds yummy!

We had the same disappointing experience at Whispering Canyon and now I don't want to try that again. SIL insists an eating there because they always stay at WL. We did O'Hanas only for breakfast last year and it was okay, not great. I do want to try the lunch or dinner though.

We have a ps for o'hana's on june 8th...I'm looking forward to trying it. So, the kids order off the kid's menu and the adults have a buffet? Are there veggies served with the meats?

we tried it as our very first dinner on our very first trip 2 years ago and loved it so much for dinner we also made it our last nights dinner. and of course when we returned last year we had the same awsome experience. even my kids love the meat and awsome side dishes and salad. we plan on being ther this sept again! not to be missed..

I cant wait, we have ps for July 6th dinner, and am very excited, it will be our first time there.

Yeeaa only 43 more days.

We just ate there this week for the first time and our group of 6 loved it. The meat and shrimp were delicious, and the pork, chicken and steak was very tender. Our side dishes were tossed salad, rice, green beans, honey chicken wings, shrimp wontons and while I can't remember what else, I thought one other item, as well as three sauces for the meats. The pineapple with carmel sauce ended up a great dinner.
We had asked for a window seat with a view of the castle and said we were willing to wait. They gave us a nice window table, view of space mountain and then offered to move us to a castle view in a few minutes when one came available. We wish we hadn't moved..we went from a window round table, to an oblong a few rows away from the window..but it did have a castle view. It made conversation hard, however. Didn't distract from the great meal.

I think I read somewhere that Ohana's, California Grill and Narcoossee's were no longer piping in music from the fireworks. For those of you there recently, is it true?
