Hopefully someone has experience with this. At 180 days (for Dec) I booked Ohana for 5 people, me, hubby and 3 kids. My mom and dad just informed me they are going to Universal for a couple of days before they go on a cruise. We won't be spending any time with them as we are doing Disney parks this trip.
I would like to ask them to meet us for dinner at Ohana and I will try to call to add 2 more to the ressie, but in case I can't, should I just see if they can add them when we get to restaurant? I feel terrible just showing up with 2 extra people. Has anyone done this? :confused3 Thanks.

Ohana is a very busy place. I would call ahead or you may be in for a very long wait.

UPDATE:

I called and asked if I could add 2 to our ressie for 5. No way I was told. Totally booked. Oh well, I guess my folks are out of luck. They think I am crazy for planning in advance, but this is why. :rolleyes1
I must sound like a shrew, but this is one of the places we are looking foward to eating and I don't want to cancel.
I think I will tell my mom to keep calling to see if something opens up

And when we called CS, we were told no also...however, CS said, that they had reservations for a party of 2 around the same time as us...and even though we weren't sitting together, we could still have dinner in the same rest. around the same time. So I made res. for just the 2 of them. And when we checked in at the rest. we told them our situation and they sat us close enough together.
