On the All Ears web site it shows choice of potatoes or noodles but everything I have read from people who have been there over the last several months indicates that is not correct and instead they are serving noodles!
We were just there last Friday night and we didnt receive any potatoes or the option to get them. It was just the noodles...that was fine with us though...our kids LOVE them
We enjoy watching the fireworks WHILE we eat at 'Ohana. They pipe in the Wishes music and it is a lovely show. Don't rush your dinner...the food is amazing and the kids will love the entertainment!
Are only certain seats able to view the fireworks? Can you enjoy them if not by a window? And if you do you have to request a seat by the window, do you do it when you make your ADRs or when you get there?
We were told by an exasperated waiter that the potatoes are gone and will never return because they have trans fats. Alas. We're big fans of trans fats, so we were sorely disappointed.
@NorweJeNY: Request a table seat, or a "fireworks viewing" seat when you arrive at the podium. There are a few tables from which you can't see the fireworks, but everyone is allowed to get up and over over by the windows where they can see them. We prefer to arrive about an hour prior to the fireworks and wait until a window seat is available.
ARGHHHH!!! No potatoes?!? Surely one of the great Disney chefs has to be able to come up with a "non-trans-fat" version (albeit not as good as the full fat loaded one). The potatoes are one of the main reasons we eat at Ohana's. You can request a window seat and be able to see the fireworks, but if one isn't readily available and you are really hungry just know that you are allowed to move around to the window side of the restaurant once the fireworks start, but it is standing room behind the already seated guests. I agree, Ohana's is one of those dining experiences that you definitely don't want to rush through, and wear your s-t-r-e-t-c-h pants!!

We were there on Friday night too!!! Same thing--just noodles, no option for potatoes. My tummy wouldn't have had room for them anyway so that was okay by me.
