'Ohana has stuff for the kids... There is usually a lady singing that encourages the kids to walk around the restaurant in a parade. I've seen the races and the limbo at dinner. It is very festive and we love it.
YES!!! Coconut races, hula hooping, limbo, hula dancing, singing....I am not sure if I have them all or not, but these are the fun activities our family has experienced. It is a "do not miss" for our family each and every trip
Im so excited. Ohana is our favorite place for breakfast. We haven't eaten dinner there yet but have reservations. YAY! We are also doing breakfast there again LOL
We had an 8:40 pm reservation but felt that that was too late for the k ids 8 and 5 so I changed it to 4:25pm - do they start the fun things early on in the dinner time slot?

So I guess t does not matter if it is for Breakfast, Lunch or Dinner they still play games, is that correct? If you have been to Whispering Canyon..how do they compare in he fun factor?

Anytime they are open there is something going on...however, they do not serve lunch at this time. Personally, my experience between Ohana & WCC is that WCC is fun in more of a "slap-stick-comedy" way & ohana is more fun in a "cute" way...don't get me wrong, both are great, just two different kinds of fun.
Thanks, may have to book both. My only issue is going back and forth from the parks to the different resorts to eat. I sometimes find it a pain for some. Contemporary is not so bad. But when we did Hoop Dee Doo, I found that to be a bit of a pain. Anybody else feel that way? That maybe a thread to start, lol.

I do not feel it is bad at all to go to the Poly from MK...just jump on the resort monorail and your there in a flash! I would coordinate my meals at Ohana with a MK day for sure.
I am sorry I did not realize the monorail ran there. Is there a way to ask for middle seating? I would be afraid that we maybe put in a corner. That seems to be out luck when we eat in Disney. We have been to several show that just don't seem to put us in good seats. Maybe just timing.
