:confused3 :headache: :confused3 :headache:

I have tried and tried to get a dinner reservation at Ohana's with no luck.

I went ahead and booked dinner at 5:40 at Kona's but I am now second guessing myself and wonder if I should use that TS meal somewhere else.

We have ADR's for :
Chef Mickey's
Crystal Palace
Boma's
Whispering Canyon
Le Cellier
Mama Melrose

We have two boys ages 6 & 8

I think Kona is SO much better than Ohana. I'd definitely keep it.

Kona is really delicious so I'd keep it. Seriously yummy! Ohana is great too but I certainly wouldn't be disappointed if I had to settle for Kona instead :goodvibes The steak is soooo good there and they serve a wonderful warm bread with macadamia nut butter! I'm eating there too! :goodvibes

The food at Kona is outstanding! I would keep it for sure!

Kona is awesome! If your doing dinner there check out my dining report, we went to Kona's for dinner. Yum!

We really like Kona 2 years ago but last year we didn't care for the food at Ohana except for the bread pudding. My DH is a serious meat eater and he thought the meats at Ohana were terrible; he told me never to book it again even though our DD did enjoy the activities for the kids.

I would drop it
I had breakfast at Kona last July
service was terrible
French Press pot was leaking
and so was the replacement
food was good
we ate in Ohana
service was lousy then
DD is a vegitarian
they just kept dumping meat on her plate with out asking
I hope it got better since then
I would try maybe rose and crown
or Marrakesh.

Keep it! Kona is one of our favorite Disney restaurants. Ohana was fun, but not nearly as good as Kona in terms of food or service.

We have had dinner and breakfast at Kona and thought the food was great! I wouldn't worry about keeping it....the dinners were great and the desserts were amazing!:thumbsup2

I also like Kona! We went last year for dinner and planned on breakfast but I got a terrible cold and we missed it.

We are planning on Kona for breakfast again this year. We'd go for dinner but we try to switch Kona and Ohana every year for dinner.

keep it! Kona is the one place we ALWAYS go to for dinner....it is sooo yummy

Kona is ok, DH likes it more than I do...I would go to Grand Floridian Cafe instead

I am sooooo glad to hear all the great reviews that Kona has. We went there for breakfast on our last trip in 2007 (I HAD to try the Tonga Toast...YUMMY!!!!), and for our upcoming trip my DH suggested that he would like to try it for dinner on one of our MK days, he just loves the fact that he can take the monorail over to Poly and then back to MK for evening hours. :goodvibes

Kona's was terrible for us....the strip steak was by far the worst meal we had in Disney. The chocolate cake, forget the name, on the other hand was the best desert we have found in DW.

.

We couldn't get 'Ohana at all last year either so we booked Kona instead, but when we got there we noticed the waiting area at 'Ohana was empty so we asked at the podium & they said it would be about a 30min. wait so we went over & cancelled the Kona ADR & sat at the bar till they called us. So keep Kona & double check with 'Ohana when you get there & if there really are no openings, like others have said, Kona is still excellent. :thumbsup2
