Has anyone done this on the same trip? My DH loves the dinner and we are doing that our first night. My DS6 is obsessed with Stitch and I know he would enjoy the breakfast. Do you think this is overkill? We are only there six nights and I would book the breakfast towards the end (if it's even available). What do you think?

Yes, we did it this December--but not on purpose. We were staying in the Poly and had a TS left on the meal plan. We had eaten dinner at Ohanas a few nights before and really loved it. The night before we left we went down to the lobby to try to get reservations for one last meal and the CM at told us it was too booked and made reservations for the Kona Cafe. Well, the next morning we went to Ohanas to ask whether there was any possibility of getting seated and they said, "Absolutely!" We were seated within minutes. It was the best! We hadn't planned on breakfast there, but the kids (9, 6, 3) LOVED it. The food was good; the characters were GREAT. One funny note, the CM who told us it would be impossible, was eating there with what looked like his grandparents having breakfast!!!! Totally strange...but a testament to how good breakfast is, I suppose.

We loved both experiences, dinner and breakfast, at Ohanas. I know people rave about Kona Cafe (we ate there for lunch and dinner, too) but Ohanas is a really cheerful place. We were lucky enough to get seated by a window for our impromtu breakfast with a view of our room, the volcano pool and the castle. It was a perfect "last meal".

Good luck!

We are planning on booking Ohana for our next trip. For as much as we love Stitch maybe we will book breakfast and dinner. Thats a good idea. :thumbsup2

Hey,

We booked Ohana Breakfast just to see what it is like. Though since i'm 14 and that's the youngest age in my family, we don't really just go for the characters.

I have ADRs for Ohana for dinner and Ohana Character breakfast. We've always done Ohana for dinner and in January we tried the Ohana breakfast and the kids loved it. We just spaced them out - we're doing the breakfast on our last day.

My DD8 and I had breakfast at Ohanas this morning and had a really good time. We had not been to Ohanas before, and I was pleased with the food (yummy pineapple bread), service and character interaction! We would go again! This is not one of my best photos, but you get the idea! Stitch was very friendly today! We were doing the hula together!
