I've never been to O'hana's before. I'm thinking about making a ressie there for a party of 9 in December. We'll have 3 kids with us. Is this a fun place for kids?

Yes it is fun for kids. They can participate in coconut races, parades, etc. Everyone gets a flower lei. It's very kid friendly!

It is a very fun place for kids. We were there a couple years ago, and they had some activities for kids while you were waiting for your food to come. The food was very good, and there is this 1 alcoholic drink, I can't remember the name, I think it came in a pineapple and it was meant for two people, mmmmmmm good!

As the previous posters stated it is kid-friendly. There is usually some form of entertainment going on at Ohana: singing/ukelele playing, limbo contests, coconut races, teaching the hula, etc. The food is pretty good: appetizers served family style, meats served on skewers (pork, steak, shrimp, turkey), and a very good dessert: bread pudding a la mode with banana foster sauce.

KIDS will love it!.. We love Ohana's we go every trip. I craved the dumplings and noodles so yummy!

Not made for two people as far as I'm concerned. The drink is too good to share. DW and I always get our own.

Ohana is fun for all. They do some fun games for small kids too! The food is excellent and plentiful!

Your kids will probably enjoy it, but make sure you're not seated far away from the action. We were on the edge of the restaurant, close to the lobby, and the entertainment was mostly out of our view and hearing. Our kids were a little older so didn't really matter, but I think it would have been more fun to be closer.

"Fun".. well it's not a character dinner.. but they do have some good interactive activities.. hulu hoops, dancing, singing.. etc..

My boys love it.. not so much for the "fun" as the FOOD!!!

We all loved everything about this place. The kids didn't want to try the food that we were eating so they all got a huge plate of chicken fingers/fries instead at no extra charge. The games are great. We, too, were seated way far away but we all just got up and went to where the excited was so I could get pictures and the kids could play the coconut game and get a lei. Good luck. :)

how old are the kids...we went last year with a 5 & 7 yo and it was a lot of work. We were constantly wiping fingers (the wings) cutting meat because no sooner than we got one piece done than they had just brought more or peeling lots of shrimp-the food was good but we were worn out in prep work.

I think it would be fun for kids, but if the kids are little, the parents have to go up with them for the things they do. The food though, we didn't like.

Not to highjack the thread but is the same food served for the kids as adults?

I don't know what but the kids can get their own food if they want to, they don't have to. I remember the table next to us, the kids did. The menus on allears or disney's website might say.

I second all the great things previous posters are saying about Ohana - we love it! The family style arrangement is great with multiple kids (no juggling plates like at a buffet, but the food comes quickly and there is plenty for everyone.)

They always bring us both kids items and the regular menu items, so our kids can have some of each. I can't remember what the kids' items are, but one of our three boys is a very picky eater and he loved it!
