Ohana's Character Breakfast

Hi, we ate at the character breakfast at Ohana's 2 years ago. It was good. The food is served family style on a little lazy susan, I believe. It's standard fare. The characters that were there were Mickey, Goofy, Chip and Dale. I went with my best friend on a girls only trip that time and we had fun at breakfast. For little kids they have a little conga line to "I just can't wait to be king".

This past visit we ate at Chef Mickey's and I think that place is the far better breakfast. I thought the food choices were better and I just had a better time. I hope this helps.

We really like the Ohana's breakfast. I've done it pretty regularly since before Minnie left.

We like the fact that its served family style. Currently we have little kids in the party and buffet is too much of a hassle. Family style also means that you aren't standing at the buffet when the characters come to your table.

Food is good. Scrambled eggs and sausage. French toast or waffles (can't remember which - some breakfast carb). Really yummy pineapple coconut coffee cake. There probably is more variety at a buffet, but this is what we eat anyway.

We ate there during the last Memorial weekend, and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The characters were the same as IloveDMB mentioned. The food included Mickey waffles, eggs, bacon, hawaiian bread, pancakes and sausages, I think.

We've tried all of the character breakfasts and this is by far our favorite. We love the relaxed atmosphere of the Poly, the food is delicious, and since it's never too terribly crowded, there's plenty of interaction with the characters. There's also a very cute parade where the kids get to march around the restaurant with the characters.

Thanks for the info everyone. We did Chef Mickey's on our last trip when we stayed at the CR. Our next trip we are planning to stay at the Poly. So we will definately try 'Ohanas. It isn't listed as a character breakfast on this site so I was surprised to find that it actually is. :D

Yes, yummy fried potatoes!

Other breakfast items: pineapple coconut bread, biscuits, scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, Mickey waffles...yum!

Great character breakfast, always enjoy it. Lots of fun with the kids and the 'parade' and hula hoops.
