Would I be able to order a hot dog or chicken nuggets rather than the buffet for my ds who is a very picky eater? We would love to try the restaurant but don't want to really pay $9.99 for our son who won't eat anything off of the buffet.

Thanks
julia

Yes, you will, but you may have to assert yourself. Some of the servers will cheerfully offer you a kids' menu, others won't even tell you it exists (we had the latter). Also, beware that some servers will also try to sell your kids frozen drinks -- nonalcoholic, of course, but pricey. I don't know how much you get charged for the kids' meal, though -- it may be $9.99.

Just so you know, this meal is NOT a buffet.

We just ate there with my picky four year old. He ate bread and six shrimp. He does say it was his favorite restaurant (because of the fire pit, I'm sure). Our server offered to get him something else, but I said no thinking he would surely eat the grilled meat and trying to make him a more adventurous eater. (I have no idea where he got his pickiness!) For some reason, he wouldn't even try the chicken, steak, or pork, but he liked the shrimp. He also ate the pineapple at the end.

We tried getting our 5 year old and 20 month old to eat the food served; didn't work. We asked for hot dogs & fries and they were out in less than 10 minutes. :)
