We have reservations for Ohanas in October. Our sons both have peanut/tree nut allergies. WDW seems to be wonderful with allergies and they are so cautious. Has anyone with a peanut/tree nut allergy eaten at Ohanas?

I have a son that has peanut allergies, too. We chose not to eat there because of the peanut oil used. I don't know how safe they could make your boys food. I would call them to see what could be done.

We ate both breakfast and dinner at Ohana's with no problems. Two of my kids have peanut and tree nut allergies. The chef came to our table at both meals and let us know their safe options. They don't use peanut oil in preparation, but serve a peanut dipping sauce with the fried wontons at dinner. We simply asked not to have that served to us. The banana bread pudding was also off limits, not because it contains nuts, but it''s prepared by an off-site vendor, so the chef could not assure us that there were no cross-contamination issues. The kids got enormous bowls of vanilla ice cream instead. At breakfast, they couldn't have the pineapple bread and cinnamon roll, due to being purchased from a vendor with no safety guarantees.

Thank you for the responses. We have successfully eaten breakfast there avoiding the bread and are looking for something different for dinner. We figured we would avoid the peanut dipping sauce. I am planning on buying the snow cone in a bucket for my boys dessert. They will love this!

My family has eaten there 3 times with DD8 who has a peanut/tree nut allergy with no consequence. I informed the CM when I made the ressies, and the waitress/waiter when we arrived. We were told what she could eat and what she should avoid, and all was fine. We have also eaten breakfast there once with DD, and no problem there either.

We are going again in 3 weeks...

We ate there with DGS who has a Peanut/Tree Nut allergy. We had no problems at all.
Disney is great with food allergies. We felt very comfortable there.
