So, I am unable to get a reservation for our party of 7 at anytime on the Sunday evening (only night we can all go). What about walk-ups? How long is the typical wait for a table with no reservation? We are hoping to arrive by 5:30 or so to put our name in.....

If you wait until 5:30 to arrive, you'll be completely out of luck, most likely. They start forming a line for walkups an hour earlier than that, and even then there's no guarantee that they will seat anyone without an ADR.

IF you want to attempt it, have a backup plan. In the meantime, keep checking for a cancellation.

Keep checking. Things open up. We leave to fly down there Saturday, and just today I got an Ohana dinner, BOG dinner, CRT dinner, and a few days ago I got Wishes Dessert Party. It happens. Just keep checking.

Also, a party of 7 is a tough one to squeeze in.

Try splitting up your party - reservations for 3 or 4 are easier to get. You would have to make multiple MDE accounts to make multiple reservations.

We walked up to Ohana once as a party of 2 around 5:15pm. We were told they were not taking walk-ups that day, they were completely booked. It was not a holiday/event or overly-crowded time. Just have a back up plan in case they are not accepting walk-ups.
