Hi! We have a Friday evening Ohana ADR (8:45 PM) during our September trip. We have eaten there once, last year, for breakfast. We are excited but had a few questions! :goodvibes

1. We had initially planned to be at a waterpark that day, but now plan on dropping the "Waterparks & More" option from our trip. If we are at a theme park all day (MK & Epcot are both on the Monorail line, right), can we take the monorail over to Ohana to eat? And then back to the park we were at, in order to catch the PC bus?

2. If you are eating at Ohana during the MK fireworks show, can it be seen from Ohana itself?

3. If we would by chance finish dinner early (before the fireworks) is there a viewing area (outside of Ohana) where they can be seen and if so, are we allowed to watch from that area?

4. Has anyone ever ordered their meat to be "well done"? We cannot handle/will not eat "pink meat" (not even with the lightest pink tinge) and wondered if they will accomodate such a request.

TIA! :flower3:

Hello! The polynesian is on the monorail, so yes - you can get to it from both MK and Epcot.

You can see the MK fireworks from the beach at the Polynesian, or the second floor lounge. I am not certain if they can be seen from Ohana.

Yes, you can order your meat well done. Disney is great at accomdating any food request. Have fun!

We like our meat well-done, too! Unfortunately, the last time we dined there--our request for well-done resulted in black-charred steak on the outside with blood red inside. We are not going to accept that this time. If you keep sending it back you should get a batch that turns out right eventually.

Thank you for replying and the information! :yay:

If we cannot see them (fireworks) from Ohana (or finish early with dinner) we will visit the beach! :goodvibes

The fireworks can be seen from O'hana, but not very clearly. It also depends on where you sit.

I have seen the fireworks from O'Hana. If you think you will be there during the fireworks, ask to be seated near a window. They try to accomodate requests, but can't guarantee anything.

The Poly is on the "Resort Monorail" and can be accessed at any of the monorail resorts and at the MK. If you are coming from Epcot on the monorail, you would need to exit that monorail and then either walk to the Poly or transfer (go down the ramp and then back up) to the Resort Monorail.

Going back to your resort should be simple ... either catch a bus outside the MK or some resorts may have a bus from the TTC.

Dh was able to get well done pieces of beef and I was able to get med
