Hey...well, we are planning a trip in late October & considering dinner at Ohana...it seems like fun for my older kids, 4 & 6 but we will also have my (pretty content) 5-month old in tow. Obviously he won't be able to sit in a high chair and we will need to pull his stroller up to the table. Is this totally ridiculous? I plan on doing this wherever we eat, and i'm starting to get a little worried...also, looking for feedback on the baby-friendliness of Cindy's dinner table...we did b'fast last year, loved it & thought we'd try dinner, but i assume it's slightly more stuffy @ dinner. Would you all consider bringing an infant to the royal dinner? Does anybody know whether there is an elevator instead of taking the stroller up that spiral staircase? Thanks guys!

Some of hte restaurants won't have room for a stroller in the aisle. The tables are quite close to each other. I am not sure that some restaurants will allow you to bring the stroller into the restaurant at all.

Hope some other posters will have experience with this. If not, you may want to ask on the Family Board. I am sure they will have hte answers.

Good luck planning!

When our DD was 6 mos old, we had a similar problem. Very few Disney restaurants let us bring in her stroller. How about a Snugli or baby back pack? Or a baby car seat with handles that fits on a high chair?

I don't think they allow strollers at O'hana. I know they don't at Kona, which is right next door. And I remember seeing ALOT of strollers lined up on the side of the O'hana restaurant. I'm almost positive they don't. Maybe you could bring the car seat in and sit in in the chair with that? :confused3

yes, the car seat in the high chair will work...thanks for reminding me...baby is only 7 weeks old and i forgot all about that trick!

We brought our stroller into Ohana, WC, Le Cellier and Prime Time with our 5 month old last Dec. It depends on where your table is and what the room is like. You'll just have to ask or sweet talk the hostess. I was so happy on our last trip that he was old enough for the highchair though.

We took a 3 month old last September and here is where we ate and what we used at each:

--'Ohana...we went for breakfast and used her stroller (a Peg Perego P3...so a medium sized stroller)

--Chef Mickey's...they had infant highchairs (a reclined seat on a stand basically)

--Cape May...my DH and parents took her here so either her stroller or an infant high chair

--Garden Grille...infant high chair

--Le Cellier...stroller

--San Angel...not sure if they had infant high chairs (I didn't see any) so I just put her in a pouch sling

--Hoop Dee Doo...stroller

It seemed that most places had the special infant style highchairs so just ask for one or if not, ask about using the stroller. Good luck and have a great trip!!

Have you considered buying a cover for the infant high chairs? I have a 5 month old right now & we put that cover of the high chair & jam some receiving blankets around & she is good to go & happy & we don't worry about her sucking on a disgusting high chair. She'll be 6 months when we go in a few weeks so if you go to my TR in mid to late Sept I'll try to remember to tell you what we did in all the places we go to.

My 4 year old niece was sleeping when we checked in to our Kona ADR. My Sister took her out to carry her in and the CM told us they could seat us at a table where there was room for the stroller. We has a table behind the check-in right by the railing. We put the stroller by the railing and she slept until dessert. :)

We have taken a stroller into 'Ohana before and it wasn't a problem. Just make sure you tell them when you are checking in so they can get you at the right table.
