Just wondering if anyone recommends O'Hana - I am hearing mixed reviews. We are looking to try something new this trip. Please share what you like/don't like about it. Thanks!

We went last September before the menu change and really loved it!! We had a window table overlooking the castle and it was beautiful! I thought the meat was a tad bit dry, but I think most grilled food is that way. Nothing personal against Ohanas. We will be going back this August again!

I love Ohana! My favorite thing there is the honey lime salad dressing. (and I make it at home all the time!) All of the food is so good, we are semi-picky eaters.

The only thing I don't like about Ohana is... it's over 700 miles away from where I live!:rotfl2:

We went over Spring Break and it was AWESOME!!! We loved it. We had been before the changes as well, but I like it better now!! The wontons were amazing!!! I recommend it. My favorite meat is the turkey.

We ate there this past Sept & enjoyed our meal. The meats on the skewers were good & my DW really liked the dessert: bread pudding a la mode with banana foster sauce. We also liked the Polynesian theming of the restaurant. We will definitely be going back this year.

DH and I love O'Hana's. We've been twice in the past year and both times sat at the same table. No, it wasn't planned that way. We haven't been back since the menu change but I'm making and ADR for Dec. I make that salad dressing at home too. It's so addictive. I love the pork and the steak. I'm looking forward to the changes though. They sound yummy. We've never been disappointed going there.

We really enjoyed it when we had dinner there for the first time in September :goodvibes. We thought the food was great and we also liked the atmosphere of the restaurant ::yes::.

it was one of our don't miss ADR's until our last visit [dinner] CM was rather absent/ meat was dry/ and had to wait 40+ min even with the ADR-so this Sept it will be Kona instead- BUT we still love the character bfast there YUMMY:goodvibes

I can't get in :( . We've gone each year and this year we added a few extra days and I tried to get in but there are NO availabilities while we are there :faint: . I love this place. We leave stuffed every time. Make sure you leave room for dessert....yummy!!!!!!!!!!

Love Ohana!

If you have energetic kids, it is a must. Plenty to keep the kids busy while parents relax and enjoy the food.

We were there in April and the food was excellent. Unfortunately my two teens have outgrown it a bit, but they enjoyed watching all of the activities.

We went for the first time in early April and it was amazing! Tons of pics and reviews in my signature

Love, love, love Ohana and so do my kids. Here is my review for May 11th:

We had ADRs for 5:30pm and were seated pretty quickly. Our server was Sam. She was very efficient and attentive. The food came out pretty quickly. The bread was warm and fresh. The salad was absolutely delicious! The pork dumplings and chicken wings were very tasty and hot. The noodles were fantastic and a fav of the DDs. They had a great flavor. The veggies were a broccoli/snow peas mix. They could have been a little crisper, but they had a good flavor. Next came the meats: steak, pork, turkey, and shrimp. The girls loved the pork and turkey. Both were tender and well seasoned. They didn't like the steak, but the adults did. Everybody got seconds. The shrimp was on the spicy side so the DDs only had 1 each. The adults had more. Dessert was the bread pudding w/the foster sauce. The girls were given vanilla ice cream w/mickey sprinkles. I'm not a fan of bread pudding, so I had ice cream w/the sauce. The other adults gobbled up the dessert, which was nice and hot as was the rum sauce.

:worship:

Ohana is our families most favorit place to eat every time we go to WDW. We wouldn't miss it for anything, always lots of fun and great food!

My kids are picky eaters, does anyone know if they will substitute chicken nuggets or mac & cheese?

Glad to hear the good reviews. We haven't been to 'Ohana in years...last time we went was when they still had the yummy shrimp wantons! I LOVED those things, and when they changed the menu and got rid of those (and the pineapple with caramel) I vowed to never return! LOL! We decided to give it a try this year...DS has never been and we wanted something close to WDW. :)
