I haven't been to 'Ohana's since they changed their menu format. I remember long wait times after checking in with your ADR. I secured a 5:25 reservation for 3 on one of the nights I am doing the MVMCP. I was curious if the wait times have changed since the menu went with a ' family style' mode. I don't recall ever getting an ADR so early at 5:25 but was curious if that plays a factor as well.

I don't recall a time 'Ohana wasn't family style . . . ? Your wait will vary. There have been times we've been seated immediately and other times we've waited about 30 minutes. 'Ohana dinner starts at 3:30 pm, so you may be waiting if your ADR is at 5:25 pm. If your goal is to get to the party ASAP, I would try to move the reservation to an earlier time.

Based on other recent threads I have seen O'hana modified their serving style after reopening from covid but I would still call it 'family style'. Not sure how that has any impact on wait times. Now they apparently bring the dishes to your table instead of going from table to table serving everyone the entrees from those long skewers. They still have a fixed menu and everyone gets served the same items.

I would assume most restaurants organize reservation timeslots based on their actual experience. Clearly some people take more/less time then others, but I would imagine the slots are based on what they typically see. When we last ate there a couple of years ago we only have to wait a few minutes to get seated.

I found the same experience. One time waited 30 min, once brought right in

I think you can Mobile check in to your ADR 15 min early? It's definitely earlier than the actual ADR time. Our experience with mobile check in has been mixed. Most often we are able to be seated early, other times we've had to wait until our actual ADR time to be seated. I personally would try for an earlier time since you shelled out money for party tickets! You can also enter MK with your party tickets at 4pm
