My DS(3) and I are taking a guys only trip in a few weeks. We've already got one character meal reservation at Garden Grill, but I think we'll try to get a late character breakfast for our departure day. Does anyone have any thoughts about 'Ohana vs. Chef Mickey's? Thanks!

If your son is a big Lilo and Stitch fan go to O'hana... otherwise do Chef Mickeys!

I agree with the above poster.

Go to Chef Mickey's unless your DS is a big Lilo & Stitch fan!!

Chef Mickey's is a buffet and Ohana's offers a breakfast platter served family style. That might weigh into your decision.

We enjoyed CM on our last trip and are giving Ohana's a try during our upcoming trip.

My boys (2 & 6) LOVED the 'Ohana breakfast--the character interaction was great with Mickey, Pluto, Stitch & Lilo. They were especially excited to be eating with the mischevious Stitch, but the morning we were there Pluto stole the show!

We love Chef Mickey's It is a great way to say goodbye to all the characters. Yummy food too. :)

Hard choice. We've done both. CHef Mickey's was livelier than Ohana's. I like the food better at Chef Mickey's, but the character interaction is awesome for both. How bad do they want to see Lilo and Stitch? If bad Ohana's otherwise do CM

We've never gone to Chef Mickey's for breakfast, but I'm assuming its a standard breakfast buffet with the same characters and interaction as dinner. That said I think I'd go to Ohana. Their family style breakfast was very good and the characters were a lot of fun. They serve a pineapple bread that is delicious...plus Mickey waffles, etc...really all you need for breakfast.

There is probably a little more variety at Chef Mickey's and there are a couple more characters....but we loved Ohana's breakfast.

As it is your last day I would go to Chef Mickey for the food, it is easier to pick and choose, unless DS realy loves Lilo and Stich. Both are great.

Both are fun, and must do's. But different. One is served family style, set menu, other is a buffet.

Stitch is so much fun, he is nuts! :thumbsup2

If it is just you and a 3 year old I would choose Ohana's - the food is brought to the table so no trips to the buffet line trying to balance two plates (yours and his). It is a nice restaurant and you can see the castle from the restaurant so it makes for a very nice final view.

I would choose Ohana over Chief Mickeys anyday in my opinion I think Ohana is just better and has a fun atmosphere and has better food and fun games for kids, teens, and adults. And Chief Mickeys I think i'm just to old for it( im a teenager if you haven't figured that out yet) but if you have young children its great place to take them, if you have older children like in there teens take them to Ohana.
