Hi Everyone,
We are going to be in the Magic Kingdom 10/30-11/6.
When should I make the Ohana reservations? How much advance do they allow?
Thanks,
Donna
*Also, would love to hear from Ohana veterans.
You have to wait until 90 days out to make all your restaurant priority seatings. Ohana's has wonderful family atmosphere and very tasty food. You'll love it!
We tried Ohanas for the first time on our trip in October and we loved it!!! We've decided to make it our "first night at Disney" tradition!!
The food was good, the atmosphere was great - my DD loved the games they played with the kids, especially the hoola hoop contest! And we walked down to the beach after to watch the fireworks! It was a great evening!!! Enjoy!!!
This has become one of our favorite restaurants. You are served a variety of salads and appetizers to begin with (all so yummy) and then all you can eat grilled meats: sausage, turkey, beef, pork, and shrimp. (www.allearsnet.com will provide a more specific menu!). It closes with fresh pineapple and caramel sauce. My boys like the huge snow cone that is served in a beach bucket that they get to keep.
Window seats with a view of the castle are great, especially with Wishes.
On a side note, I just bought a pair of shoes because the style name is Ohana!
I love 'Ohana as has everyone I have taken there. The food is great as is the atmosphere and it is fun to watch the kids programs. I have considered (just considered mind you) flying from here in California for a week end trip to go to 'Ohana...not to any of the parks, just to eat. Probably would hit Boma too.
When you check in at the podium, be sure to request a table in the main dining area (with a view of the fire where they cook the food). There are some tables behind this cooking area and if you are seated back there, you feel somewhat removed from the atmosphere.
I don't eat much meat. I went to O'hanas and loved it. The food was fantastic the atmosphere wondersul. A must do for sure. Have a great time, cousin (ha ha ha).
