I'm not a seasoned Disney traveler, havent been there since I was a kid. So forgive me if these questions seem very basic.

We are not staying on Disney property, and plan on eating as many meals off-site as possible....counter-service when in the parks. However I want to go to at least one dinner, and we're leaning toward Ohana's. So here's the questions:

1. You CAN dine at the resort restaurants without staying on Disney property right?

2. do they serve alcohol at Ohana?

3. What's the DUI limit in Florida? (just kidding)

4. How exactly is the food served? They just keep bringing out more stuff, which you can say yes or no to? Can you ask for seconds of something they already brought out?

5. I've seen mixed reviews on the food quality, mostly related to food being either over cooked or under cooked. How flexible are they with bringing food out cooked to your liking if you ask?

6. About how long does it take to eat there? 1.5 hours? 2 hours?

I'm going to assume you're talking about dinner and not breakfast.

1. You can dine anywhere no matter where you stay. Just remember to make an ADR since it's usually packed.

2. Yes, they serve all kinds of alcohol.

3. I couldn't answer that one anyway since I don't drink. :goodvibes

4. They bring everything to you. You can ask for more of anything or tell them not to bring something. It's entirely up to you how much of and what you want to eat.

5. We love the food here. We've never had a problem. If a piece of meat is undercooked (usually the steak) just ask for another piece.

6. It takes as long as you want it to take. The appetizers and sides come out quick but after that, it's up to you as to how fast you want to eat. We can spend an hour or so there and think nothing of it. We plan that as the last thing of the evening so we can take our time. The ambience is so much fun. Doing the hula or watching the coconut races makes it interesting. Just remember to save room for dessert. That bread pudding is so good but we're usually full from everything else that we have to choke it down.
