My question is about Ohana breakfast. I know it is served family style but we are a party of 2. Do they sit you with other guests or is there tables for 2? And if you end up getting put with other guests.... if you get there and there is no one their for them to put you with do you have to wait for more people or do they just seat you at a huge table alone lol. Thanks!

There are tables for two... It's served family style, but the seating is by party. I have seen parties of 2 sitting at a slightly larger table. (Correction - I went back through my photos... Those were party of 4 tables... But I have seen party of 2 towards the back of the restaurant at their own table.)

We are a family of 4 and we have never sat with anyone. I am trying to remember if I have seen 2 people sitting at a table themselves. I would think they would do that though bc its a character meal and you don't really want other people you don't know in your pictures with the characters. At least that is my take on it. I know for dinner they sit groups together at long tables but its not a character meal.

At both breakfast and dinner at 'OHana you are seated at your own table, not with strangers too

Thank you so much for your responses!! I felt like it was silly question lol

Not a silly question. We were a party of 2 at 'Ohana for dinner, and we were seated at a table for 2. I think breakfast would be the same.

There are definitely 2 tops- we are a party of 4 but were seated next to 2 parties of 2 last time we had breakfast there.

Not at all... Biergarten has "common" tables... And when you look up 'Ohana on WDW's site, it has a photo of what appears to be common tables. The image on WDW doesn't accurately portray the dining area's seating IMO.

I thought 'Ohana had communal tables the first time we ate there in 2010 because of that very reason.

You get your own table at Ohana- we've eaten there at breakfast and dinner. We normally go to Disney as a party of two, and the only place we've been seated at a shared table is Garden Grill.

They have common/shared tables at Garden Grill?

Only because we were a party of two. They have booths in the revolving restaurant, and we were placed in a section of a booth that had its own small table, and another small group was in the other part of the booth (I think they had 3 or 4 people). I asked if that was all they had for us (as I dislike eating with strangers), but they said that's all there was. YMMV.

Wow that stinks! We have eaten there twice, but never had to sit with anyone else, we are a party of 4, but I get really bad vertigo so I let them know this before we get seated so we are usually on the upper part of the place that doesn't revolve

Agreed. If you look at the Garden Grill pic on its Disney website page & look carefully at the booths, you'll actually see the kind of booth/table configuration I'm talking about front and center of the photo. They sometimes make different parties share those. I thought that was a bum deal for the price we paid for dinner, especially considering that we're gluten-free & their gluten-free dinner was the worst I've had at WDW. The character interaction was good, though. I just wasn't in the mood to enjoy it, after having paid $100 to share a booth with a strange family, eating bland, mediocre food.

My DD and I celebrated her 21st birthday at Ohana for breakfast and I requested a table to ourselves when making the reservation and
then again when we checked in that morning. I also had ordered a Stitch birthday cake (her favorite character), Stitch came over while
we sang Happy Birthday and took pictures with her blowing out the candles. The food is plentiful and good, and the cake was beautiful
and VERY YUMMYpooh:
