Ohana or Spoodles??

Hi Everyone!!

My family is coming to visit me in Feb since I'm working for WDW for the College Program. We needed to pick a day with a resort restaurant that is open later because I might be scheduled to work until 8 or 8:30.

Our choices are Spoodles at BW or Ohana's at Poly. We have never eaten at any before so we need some convincing. We were going to go to Yachtsman but we're *hoping* to get into Yak and Yeti and will need another TS to use. We already have ADRs for Concourse Steak, Coral Reef, Morocco, and currently Yachtsman which we will change if we can get into Yak and Yeti.

Which do you like better and why?

In my party will be my parents both almost 50, myself age 22, and my brother 20.

Thanks!! We did print menus. Dad likes Spoodles and Mom likes Ohana. I like Ohana and brother doesnt care.

I've never eaten at Spoodles, so I can't compare for you but...'Ohana is a must-do for my entire family. It is the only restaurant we visit every time, without fail. We love the potatoes, salad, shrimp, wings & chips. The meat is good- not the best we've ever had, but we're usually full by the time it comes, anyway! The atmosphere is awesome, too. I don't think you can go wrong here.

I am the opposite of the previous post. I have not done Ohana but Spoodles is a must for us when we go in May. I absolutely loved the food there. I had the musles app and shrimp and lemon linguini. So good. I cant wait for that dish again.

I've been to both with my family. We prefer Spoodles...we felt that the meat was dry at Ohana and always both times have felt very rushed. Spoodles has great food, informal atmosphere and your "cousin" isn't screaming into a microphone.

Oh I don't know how you are going to choose between these two. We always do 'Ohana since it is delicious and FUN. This past year I tried Spoodles for the first time and loved it!!! It is really good food and the Boardwalk is fun to enjoy as well.

They are both on my list for next year. I have no vote since I love them both!

I used to read so many positive reviews about both of these places. Now Ohana is mixed, and it's like Spoodles has fallen off the face of the earth.
Based on my experience at Ohana, I'd give Spoodles a shot.

I have only had breakfast at O'hana (loved it). Spoodles is a must do for me every trip

O'hana, it is very good, we go for either dinner or breakfast every trip. I will say this, you tend to sit eat and leave quickly at O'hana. If you are looking to spend more time with your family enjoying a longer meal, I'd go to Spoodles. If it is food based, go to O'hana.
