We have been to Ohana twice and really enjoyed it but I was thinking maybe we should try something else. I am not sure if my hubby will be on board because Ohana is one of his favorites. For those that have done both which would you choose? We will have our ds9 and dd5 with us too.

DH and I were just at 'Ohana in December. We thought the service was lousy and the food was not as good as it used to be. And trust me when I say that this was our FAVORITE place to eat in the world at one time!

We've dined at Kona Cafe a number of times and have always had a great meal there. In May, we are skipped for 'Ohana and opting for Kona. Better service, better food, better value for our dollar.

We've eaten both twice and we like Kona a lot better. The food has been great both times. We have 3 young children and they ate there without complaining and they are pretty picky eaters.

Kona if you're doing breakfast but 'Ohana for dinner.

We've got TWO dinner reservations for 'Ohana for our trip at the end of the month. 'Ohana is where its at!

Kona is excellent, one of our must do favorites. We dine there as well as Ohana for dinner every trip.

I've read a few bad reports about Ohana, mostly that their food was dry and overcooked. I had this happen once. Told our server we like the beef medium rare and we promptly were served medium rare beef. We just ate at Ohana a few weeks ago. Told our server what we like while he took our drink orders. Everything was perfect!!

It would be hard to decide between the Ohana or Kona if I could only choose one. I'd probably give the edge to Kona. The desserts are very good as well!

Another vote for Kona! Just ate there this past weekend for the 3rd time. Fabulous again!! Great service, food and dessert! I would post pics, but it has been so long since I have posted one on the DIS I forgot how! :confused3

We have been to O'hana twice and on our last trip we felt very disapointed. the service i thought was rushed, you barely finished one course snd whoosh they're in with the next! Kona is a really nice restaurant with lovely food, well worth the try!
