Which one is better I have ADR's for Chef Mickeys but I keep hearing about Ohana's I have been to Chef Mickey's before and my family and I really enjoyed it is it worth changing to Ohana's?

We are trying 'Ohana's character breakfast in July. We have done Chef Mickey's b4 and weren't too impressed with it. We love 'Ohana for dinner, it's our favorite restaurant. I like not having to get up every ten minutes to fill my plate up. At 'Ohana it is family style and they bring the food to you.

We LOVE O'Hana.. and have done dinner there a few times and will be doing dinner there again in December. However, my DD has an egg allergy and I don't find that there are enough egg-free alternatives for her at O'Hana for breakfast to make it worth using a TS for. We are trying Chef Mickey's this year. We figured if we did a later breakfast- at like 11:30 - it would be more like a brunch and then we could take advantage of the carving station and the more lunch-type options for my DD. But the atmosphere and food was really good at O'Hana... so I'm sure you wouldn't be disappointed.

I´d say stick to Chef Mickey´s. But that´s just because we really like Chef Mickey´s and the breakfast choices at Ohana´s don´t appeal to us at all. We never eat meat or eggs for breakfast.

I am going to say go with chef mickey's! I always love the food and the characters are always great! On my past trips, we have always gone at least twice. Ohana is good too, but I think that it is not really good for a pickey eater like me. I think the character spent more time with us at table at Ohana, but I am still leaning towards CM!

We are big Ohauna fans, and Lilo and Stitch fans. The Poly is a beautiful resort where family comes first. I'd pick Ohauna.

If you know you liked CM's go for it again. We loved it, my nephew continues to ask for it and I've booked it again, this time we're trying dinner. Nothing wrong with having a favorite or a gotta do place; CM's seems to fit that bill for us.

We are trying CP and the Play n Dine Lunches this time too.

Another Vote for O'HANAS!!
We've ate at both and love O'hana for the food,
pleasent atmosphere and the Characters!!
The Characters they have at O'hanas are:
Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto.
We are eating there for the 3rd time this upcoming trip.
The Juice there is great!! I must have a least 3 glasses
each time I eat there. Coffee was good also.
They serve Pineapple bread,
Mickey shaped Waffles, Biscuts, potatoes, tropical fruit,
scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage.
Food has always been consistantly Good!!
O'hanas also has very large Windows all around the
Restarant with a good view of MK.
I also like the way the inside of the restaurant is decorated.

I love Chef Mickeys but usually go for dinner, but breakfast is good. Last year we tried Ohana's for breakfast and it was great! :cool1: The PP above listed the foods and juice, etc, and it's all delicious! We loved the food, mickey waffles best waffles I've had! Plus, if there is something you want differently, like a differ. type of eggs, the chef is happy to do it for. I remember reading on another thread they even happily made the Tonga Toast for the poster when she asked for it, it's usually served in Kona's. It is served family style and they will bring refills on anything you want, yum! We were stuffed when we left there, but couldn't stop eating, lol! :rotfl: That was DD17s favorite breakfast there and we can't wait to go again in Nov. Also, met Mickey, Pluto, Lilo & Stitch, and Minnie, too. They were all great and had lots of fun with us, even though we were an older table than one with young kids. Stitch was especially playful! :lmao: I'd say try Ohana's, you won't regret it! :thumbsup2 Plus, if you can you can do CM's for dinner or another breakfast if that works for you! :goodvibes

Another vote for Ohana's....we do it everytime we're in disney and it's our favorite breakfast. We have done chef mickey's a few times also and deffinately have never been impressed with their breakfast....everything seems very rushed.

This one is tough...
I love both. Chef Mickey's is my favorite but Ohana is a very close second.

Chef Mickey's has a buffet so there is more options for food. Kids love the napkin twirling and the characters.

Ohana is family style but kids love sausage, eggs and waffles so they are happy. The kids love walking in the parade around and of course Lilo and Stitch. Mickey and Minnie hang out there as well.

I would do both:mickeyjum :stitch:

I say Ohana's. We did Chef Mickey's once and were not impressed with it. We also have a very tough 2 year old and he makes buffetts very challenging. We love the family style meals.

We have eaten breakfast and dinner at Ohana's a few times. We LOVE the breakfast but the dinner is just ok. They will cater to your dietary needs. DH is lactose intolerant and they always make him a special meal.

We have only eaten lunch at Chef Mickey's and it was awesome as well. I think I like the idea of them bringing the breakfast to your table at Ohana's a lot better then having to go to the buffet a few times at Chef Mickey's, JMO!

If you have'nt tried Ohana's yet, you should give a try at least once.
We've been to both & enjoyed the buffett at Chef Mickey's better than the pre-plated b'fast at Ohana's. Both are equally fun for younger kids.

I have the Ohana's breakfast scheduled for our August trip. I'm looking forward to it for several reasons, one being that we have never been inside of the Poly and are excited about that as well as interacting with Lilo & Stich.

I have been hearing a lot about how good Tonga Toast is but have never eaten at Kona Cafe to have the opportunity to order it. I'm going to take the advice of the previous poster and ask for it while at Ohana's and see if I get luckey:goodvibes

Still another Vote for O'HANAS!!
We love O'hana for the food, pleasant atmosphere and the Characters!!
The Characters they have at O'hanas are:
Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto.
We are eating breakfast there for the 2nd time this upcoming trip as well as dinner again.
My wife loved the Juice. She really raved about it and my DD8 ate more food there than at any other place.
Coffee was good and they also have Pineapple bread, Mickey shaped Waffles, Biscuits, potatoes, tropical fruit, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage.
Food has always been consistently good!!
O'hanas is well decorated and also has very large Windows all around the Restaurant with a good view of MK.
