Please tell me I'm reading this wrong, because if I'm reading it the way I think I'm going to be mighty pissed off considering the trouble I had to go through in getting that one single reservation for Jan 2012

Am I reading this right? My "Free dining" will not be accepted at Ohanas? Have they changed things around such that the the Table Service credits now have different ranks based upon the meal? Or has Ohanas turned into a "signature" credit?

Where did you get this?

I'd check the sticky at the top of the Dining Plan sub-forum. It lists the restaurants that accept the dining plan. Please note that not all restaurants have signed their contracts for 2012 and will be added later in the year.

In truth, I can't imagine that the table you provided is correct. Ohana will still be taking the dining plan.

I almost had palpatations when I read that, we are booked in March 2012. I does however say it is a sample. I went to the disney web site and looked up 2012 disney dining plans and for now it shows Ohana's on the plan. :confused3 I would be shocked if they changed it.

On another thread around here it mentioned something about a computer glitch with the system. I'm thinking that's what it is. Don't worry all that trouble wasn't for nothing.

here is that link to the thread I was talking about.

It's not just 'Ohana that is having that problem.

NEVER trust that chart! It has been wrong so many times for so many restaurants that it isn't even funny any more. Look at the official dining plan .pdf brochure for an accurate restaurant list (keeping in mind that the non-Disney-owned restaurants won't be added until the end-of-year update).

How do you know which restaurants have signed up for next year's plan, already? do you know is they are the same for this year?

Right now, the brochure for 2012 lists only restaurants owned and operated by Disney. Third-party run restaurants like the food service at CSR, some of the World Showcase restaurants, and most Downtown Disney participants have until the end of the year to finalize contracts. Based on past years, Disney will update the brochure sometime in Dec with the full 2012 participating restaurant list.

As far as whether it will be the same as this year's, that's a very safe bet but not a guarantee. In the entire history of the DDP only one restaurant has dropped off the list - Fultons, in the first year's renegotiations. The list has remained unchanged since 2006 except to add newly-opened restaurants like La Hacienda, Pollo Campero, and Kouzzina.

Yeah I double checked the brochure and Ohana's is in fact there. Just got worried for a moment, that maybe they were changing their policy for "upscale" table service or something. I was/am really tempted to print out the brochure anyways just to have proof if I get denied :D

Don't worry about printing it, they'll give you one at check in. :)

wouldn't bother...besides, having the old brochure wouldn't help you any if they did change the plan because the brochure specifically says:

Disney Dining Plan meals and snacks may not be redeemed
for cash in whole or in part, sold separately, transferred or
refunded. Theme Park admission is required for some dining
locations. Advance Reservations are strongly recommended
and may be required at some restaurants participating in the
Disney Dining Plan. Operating hours, menus, entertainment,
Characters, Disney Dining Plan locations, components and terms
are subject to change without notice
.

Guess they didn't see the fine print on my credit card number when I paid for room that says I may make a large obnoxious scene if they pulled something like that at any time and for any reason :D

I was worried about this, too, for our trip in January. So I called the reservations number and was told that the chart is sometimes published before all the restaurants have confirmed to be participating for the next year. But I was told that 'Ohana is definitely available on the regular dining plan.
