I booked an adr at 'Ohana for 11:45am. We've never been there before, do they usually run on time? Will the characters still be coming around while we are there? I don't want to feel like they are closing up around us or have my son miss out on the character time.

We're starting the morning at DHS for TSMM mostly and will uber from there to the Poly, then hop to the MK.

'Ohana is NOTORIOUS for not being "on time" with reservations seating...no matter the time of day.

The characters will still be coming around, and you won't feel rushed.

Yes, don't worry about the time you are there for breakfast. If you have a breakfast reservation, you will still get to see them. We checked in for our reservation and were handed a buzzer at 9am for a 9:10 res. We waiting in line to see Stitch out in front and even after waiting in line, we walked around Poly while we waited and we were finally buzzed to be seated at 9:45am. So they will be running behind. Chances are you won't be the last breakfast reservation. In my experience, Disney does a great job at character meals making sure you see them. Our waiter kept us posted on how long it would be till all the characters made their rounds or when they were just taking a break. It's a great meal too since you are served family style so I find it more relaxed than the buffet character meals which are a bit more chaotic. But even during those, the characters are very attentive to be sure no one is missed.

We had an 11:45 earlier this month. No, we did not get seated on time, and the line to meet Stitch outside was LONG!!!!!!!!!!!!! But we did get seated immediately after we met Stitch, maybe 10 minutes late. Food was plentiful and hot, and the characters were still making the rounds and the kids still had their parade. It was the same as breakfasts we have had earlier in the morning. There were a fair amount of empty tables at that time, but we never felt rushed at all.

Wow, thanks, I'm thinking of moving our time up a little maybe. They had openings also at 11:15a and 11:30a.

This makes me wonder if I should keep our 7:30am instead of trying to bump it for later. It seemed early to me for a resort break day, but if we won't get seated until 8:15 that's when my crew has breakfast most mornings anyway.
