Ohana kid menu options?

I keep seeing that Ohana has other options for kids, but I can't seem to find it. Can someone tell me what their other options are?

The only thing offered to my picky 4 y.o. was chicken fingers and french fries. They were really good chicken fingers by the way - not the nuggets that are served a lot of other places in WDW.

Thanks! Hopefully, that will be acceptable - I suspect they may be sick of chicken fingers/nuggets by then, but those are definitely a staple for my kids (along with fries, when eating out.)

Look over the Kona kids menu, they'll be able to get anything on that menu for your kids. Ohana and Kona are right next to each other. Last year my DS6 got a hot dog and DS4 had mac and cheese. He didn't really like it, so he didn't eat much. Our cousin (server) saw him not eating and asked him if he might like anything else. DS asked for a hot dog like his brother, and she brought it out for him. They try to be very accommodating.

I've been told that Ohana has there own children's selections available and that they are NOT the same as Kona. That being said our neice was offered a number of different choice last we went to Ohana - grilled cheese, PBJ, Chicken Fingers, hot dogs

Ooh - grilled cheese! That could be a winner. (Not big PBJ fans, and I think they are tired of hot dogs at the moment - tho it is still a few weeks until our trip, lol)

We ate at O'hanas on Sunday night and they brought out chicken fingers, french fries, and macaroni and cheese for the kids.

I remember the little girl at the table next to us last year getting grilled cheese. I just remember because I didn't realize getting other food for kids was an option at 'Ohana.

The ohana kids menu is NOT the Kona menu. Totally separate hot lines. (where they cook the food) Kona chefs wouldn't appreciate it much if servers from ohana were always trying to get kid food from them. However, Ohana has Mac & Cheese, Grilled Cheese, Burgers, Hot Dogs, PBJ (uncrustable with grape jelly), & Chicken Fingers. Servers are NOT trained to automatically speil or suggest these, but to offer them if your kids aren't eating or if you ask for them.

Sounds reasonable. And I'd love for the kids to eat the regular food - but options are A Good Thing.

My DD8 figured out on her own to ask our server at each WDW restaurant, "What food do you have for kids?" as soon as we're greeted. At 'Ohana, our server told her all of the additional kids options available and she picked the uncrustable PB &J. Her cousin (9) overheard and ordered a cheeseburger. There were a few other options and I was impressed at the choices available.

As it turns out, they brought out chicken tenders with fries, and mac n cheese. Ds grabbed the chicken tenders, and dd grabbed the mac - both were happy. (When we met our server, I mentioned that they would want kid food, but didn't specify - but iirc, ds did specifically ask for chicken tenders.)
