Ohana for dinner on NYE??

This will be our third NYE at Disney--we will be with DS8 and DD5 and while we do a park at rope drop on NYE, we leave the parks by lunch and then don't go back until the next day! So we are looking for a resort restaurant. We did Raglan Rd last year, which was great, but were thinking of doing Ohana this year so that we could see Whishes on the Poly beach. Has anyone been there on NYE? What is it like? I know that I have some time to decide, but it sounds as though Ohana is especially hard to get these days--if I can't get a time there for NYE, can anyone make another suggestion? We don't want to do a traditional buffet. Thanks!

Where will you be staying? Are you looking to view the regular Holiday Wishes or the NYE fireworks?

Sorry, I posted before I was finished. The fireworks are great from the Poly so dinner there would be awsome. Get a last sitting at either resturant. You could also get dinner reservations at one of the resorts behind Epcot and could watch the fireworks from the boardwalk

Thank you! We will be staying at POFQ. We are happy to go just about anywhere on Disney property--since we won't go into a park, and want a bit of an early night with the kids, we'd like a "fun" place to go to be in the spirit of NYE, but not smack dab in the middle of the craziness!!!

I know that we are in the minority, but we ate at Kona 2 years ago and would not go back. The food was fine, but for us, a Disney restaurant needs to have some sort of "feel" to it too--we also want the food to be pretty good (which is why we won't really do dinner buffets anymore) but Kona just felt too much like we were in some random restaurant.

I hadn't thought of the idea of going to a Boardwalk restaurant or something--I think Epcot does an early round of fireworks like MK, right? That might be a good idea, and we've never eaten at Boardwalk or at one of the Epcot restaurants.

Does anyone have a favorite Boardwalk/Epcot hotel restaurant? We're on DDP so we'd only do a 1TS one. Thanks so much--this is a great alternative if we can't get Ohana!
