Ohana/Dress

Has anyone done the Lilo & Stitch Ohana Breakfast? Were the children dressed up? Dd has a hawaiian print dress with a grass skirt she wants to wear. My ds has a Stitch shirt. I thought about going to Hobby Lobby and buying leis for everyone. Will we look like fools our will we look like we are having Disney Fun?

i don't recall seeing anything to that extent but i tend not to focus on other people during my vacation either. that said, i can't imagine it'd be a bad thing. if the kids are comfortable doing it, then they should by all means. they'll probably get special attention for it too.

i've heard of boys dressing up as princes, tights and all, and going to the parks and having the times of their lives. and that's something you rarely see, if ever.

We have dressed up Tiaras and all for tea party's with adults and kids. we never feel funny because we are enjoying ourselves. i say go for it. Nothing seemed crazy. Just hawaiian stuff. i will probably dress my girls in hawaiian dresses too.

We all wore our loudest hawaiian shirts and had previously bought leis at home that we wore as well. We loved it, especially not paying the $7 per lei they offer at the Poly. Have fun.

I have a hawaiian style dress both for me and my DD to wear when we go to Ohana, I don't know if other people wear clothes for the theme as I have never been before however we thought it would be fun to wear hawaiian style clothes.

We are going here the day before our Wedding for my Brothers bday breakfast. 20 of us are wearing leis. My DF and I got matching outfits from Disneyshopping. I even made favors our of tiki cups. I say go and enjoy.

When we went to Ohanas for breakfast this past March we all four (DH both DDs and myself) all wore Stitch t shirts. We got a great reaction from Stitch over that. He really made a big deal over the shirts. We all really loved Ohana.
