We are thinking of eating here in December. What can you tell me about this restaurant? Thanks for your help.:)

I loved it, we ate here last Jan and will be this October. Food was great, brilliant service and entertainment for the kids (we dont have any but the noise didnt bother us).

The only problem was we got seated about 45 mins after our ADR time, but we given a great table next to the windows, and was perfect viewing for Wishes that evening (they pipe the music in).

Do it!!! Book it ASAP! Ths is one of our favorite places to eat at WDW. The food is really good and the atmosphere is fun. If you have children, they have a lot of fun activities for them to help keep them occupied. If you're not familiar with 'Ohana, the food is served family style and the meat comes out on 3 ft. skewers. The sides are delicious and the dessert is to die for.......Bread Pudding!!! Mmmmmmm! Here's a link to the menu:

Hope this helps with your decision!

Love it! Great food and fun. Coconut races and conga line dance for the kids. Enjoy!

We had dinner at 'Ohana in June.

We loved it.

The food was really good. The atmosphere was fun, and we were lucky enough to be seated at a table with a view of the castle!

Have a happy trip!

We were also skeptical when booking this on our last trip. It was fantastic! We did have to wait an extra 30 minutes after our ADR time. There was four of us and what they gave us could have fed twenty!! We went before wishes but they had tons of fun activities going on for kids, it was a ball to watch the kids play games and walk in a parade around the restaurant. The food was very good, it was definitely our favorite place we ate that week.

We really enjoyed our meal here. I was hesitant about it because I'm not a big fan of buffets or family style but the food was very good. We were seated right along the pathway of the entertainment, so in the middle of the action, which I guess was okay since it kept DD interested.

It's one of my family's favorites. I chose it for my birthday meal next month. My favorite thing there is the fried pork dumplings. Everything is good, but I usually ask for more of those and fill up on them.

By FAR, my favorite place to eat in WDW. And it's not just because it's all-you-can-eat, the food is excellent. The salad dressing is unique but oh so good. I've only been for dinner so I can't speak to breakfast there. But if it's half as good as dinner, you won't be disappointed either way.

Never been to Ohana but from all of the good things I've heard it is on our must do rest stops for our first trip to disney

It is a must do for every visit since '98, and if you glance down at my signature you'll see that there have been quite a few. It never disappoints, and we pay out of pocket, not the dining plan.

I loved it. We are going to WDW in Dec. and hope to eat there again. The food is great and leave room for desert.

We ate there for dinner twice on our last trip. It was great! The food was fabulous and the servers went out of their way to take care of us. It is on my list two times for my Fall trip this year too--can't wait!!

This restaurant is definitely worth the reservation. Just plan on spending a bit more time than you might at a conventional sit-down or buffet restaurant. On the most recent visit we were seated 20-min after our ADR time; however this gave us time to enjoy the lounge. ;)
Also, if it’s really busy it may take an extra minute for your server to get back to you with your selected item.

My very picky DH enjoyed the mostly meat menu (say that 10-times fast) and I liked the family style serving of the sides, rather than having to take the kids up & down to a buffet.

Sorry, just a long winded way of saying "Go!"

It's great! :thumbsup2

The banana bread pudding dessert is seriously one of the most delicious things I have ever eaten.

My DH and I discovered O'hana for the first time in May and it is now a favorite! One of the few restaurants where EVERYTHING was awesome! They gave us cupcakes b/c we were wearing our anniversary buttons, but we had absolutely NO room for more food! Awesome place, book now! :thumbsup2

Ohana is a pretty special place for me and my DW. I love it and it's a much everytime we go to DW. You will hear some people say it's the best and some say it's overrated, but I think it's great. Go early and try some drinks from the bar.

We're looking forward to eating dinner at Ohana in September. I thought I was excited before, but now I just can't wait! :cool1:I'm so encouraged to hear all these positive comments!

I'm excited about this restaurant now after these reviews-I've read some scary ones. We have a table booked here for our upcoming trip at 6:55-I'm thinking if we stretch it out we'll be able to see the fireworks. I figure 2 hours for a party of 6 is about right and from all the reviews good and bad-there is always a wait for the table.
Can't wait to post my review next month! :yay:

I'm planning on going there with the family in November. This thread is making my mouth water.................
