We are heading to WDW in June with a group of 17 (8 adults / 9 kids). We currently have an ADR for Ohana for dinner on our last evening. We have a few of the kids that are picky eaters. From the menus posted on WDWInfo.com, I noticed that Ohana offers alternative choices such as Nuggets, Mac & Cheese, etc.
My question, for anyone who might have prior experience with this situation, is....do they charge you the full $14.99 child's price for these alternative selections?
I've read that the alternative selections may actually come from the Kona Cafe next door. I was just wondering if they would maybe charge the menu price from Kona (which I figure would be around $7 to $8) or if they still charge the regular $14.99. I know that you are paying for the atmosphere of the restaurant, but $14.99 seems a bit steep for nuggets to feed a 5 year old.
Does anyone have experience with the prices for the alternative kid selections at Ohana's Dinner?
