Ohana Dinner with Peanut/tree nut allergies

Hi all,
We have been to Disney MANY times and always had great service when it came to dealing with food allergies, but I have been DYING to go to Ohana for dinner but am worried bc I know they have peanut dipping sauce, how was everyone's experience dining there with nut allergies? My daughter has the allergy. With nut allergies is the bread pudding safe? If not, what do they offer as a substitute? Thanks!

How bad is the peanut allergy?

To be honest, I wouldn't trust the allergy protocol enough if it's at all serious. There's just too much peanut in that kitchen.

They would likely offer her the brownie with marshmallow for dessert.

Disney si really good about allergies. DH has a shellfish allergy, can be serious. Obviously, there are shrimp all over the place at ohana, carried around, on the grill ect. I was very hesitant at first, but we have never had a problem. They have a separate allergy grill and allergy prep area both of which are carefully cleaned and maintained. Disney is VERY careful about cross contamination.

My dd's allergy to peanuts warrants carrying an epipen. We have dined many times at Ohana and had no issues. I think Disney does an excellent job.

They will not serve your table the peanut sauce with an allergy, but they will still serve it to other tables. There is also the possibility of residue being on the tables and chairs. So a lot would depend on how serious the allergy and how easily the child reacts as to if I would be comfortable there.
