I was looking at the menu for the Ohana Breakfast and see that there is no option for waffles or pancakes? Is this so? My sons do not like scrambled eggs and was thinking this may not work for us. Am I better of picking another character breakfast? Thanks :)

Thanks...the menu description says warm breads. I didn't think waffles were included in that description.

How were the characters at the breakfast? Is it worth doing?

We did have a basket with warm breads at first. it had some sort of cinnamon bun and coconut pineapple bread. They came around with mickey waffles a little later.

My kids loved the character interaction here. In fact we ate here 3 times on our last trip (we were staying at the Poly so it was convenient). They loved it every time, especially the little parade they do around the restaurant with maracas. Of course they also love stitch. I have DS2 and DD6 and they said it was their favorite - and we did a lot of character meals.

Does Mickey or other non-stick character make an appeance? My boys are not familiar with Stitch so not sure how this will go over.

No ressies yet. Going in March 2010 and trying to figure out where I should make my reservations.

We ate here on 9/3. They had both the breads and the waffles. It is our favorite character breakfast because it is not a buffet. Lilo, Stitch, Mickey, and Pluto were there. My almost 3 y/o son doesn't really know Stitch but he (it??) provided the funniest interactions of all the characters! It's a lot of fun and a lot of food! Enjoy!

Every time we have eaten there we have seen Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto. Pluto even lay on the floor and had my kids scratch his belly. My kids don't like scrambled eggs either, but they had a great breakfast with bacon, mickey waffles and fruit.

We ate here August 16th- our first "real" Disney activity, and we planned to use this to introduce Disney to my DS3, who really could have gone either way with the whole experience. Character interaction was great!!! Stitch, Lilo, Mickey and Pluto really made our meal- DS was so overwhelmed by Lilo he started shivering and shaking, and she made it a point to come back and he gave her a hug! :lovestruc (I welled up, I admit it, and I'm welling up now thinking about it!) It was awesome, and the food was great- and there were most definitely mickey waffles, I took a picture of one!!!

Thanks everyone for confirming Mickey waffles at Ohana's. I think I can now convince my wife to add it to our breakfast plans one day during our upcoming trip!

We're going in December -- it was one of the few restaurants that the kids wanted to return to (we last went in December 2006).

He still talks about the wonderful juice -- I'm so glad to see that the waffles are still there!:yay:
